But it is not necessary that you completely erase him from your mind. He is still alive, I assume, and we don't know what the future will be. He could come again into your life? But for the time being, get used to his absence and don't resent it. I lost my bf of 21 years when he passed away 7 years ago after a long illness. It broke my heart.
