A movie by Makoto Shinkai (5 Centimeters Per Second,  Voices of a Distant Star)

About a boy in the city and a girl in the countryside, every night, they would dream of living each other's life....is it related to the rare comet? 

To be expected would be the visuals and the details....hope the storyline would be interesting.

Ive been expecting this. From the look of it they will have great over the top visual animation. The storyline doesnt seem bad too.

Makoto Shinkai has been consistent in his work, there's this contemplative uniqueness in his stories. I can't wait for this to be out!

Missed out an entire season for anime previously so am catching up where I left off.

 

Am on some of the animes mentioned by others as well, along with Arslan Senki: Fuujin Ranbu and Tales of Zestiria the X. Big fan of the Tales series.

Not starting new thread, just sharing it here.

 

Not jap anime.....but stop-motion animated movie set in ancient Japan....Kubo and the Two Strings....debut in singapore cinemas on 8 sep. The reviews are quite good.

Made by US company Laika who also made Coraline, ParaNorman and The Boxtrolls.

How they make it.....some spoilers after 1min+...i mean if u don't want to know all the monsters/chars that would appear etc.

This anime will be released in October this year. Sports anime with low-key(kidding, its pretty plain obvious) yaoi subtext.

Porter Robinson & Madeon - Shelter song MV

Eng song. Jap short anime about a girl living in a virtual reality world....one day, she will discover why she is there....

Crunchyroll teamed up with Porter Robinson and A-1 Pictures to create an original anime for the music video for SHELTER.

Mmm....so it's really this short? or that'll be a longer version?

A Silent Voice / Koe No Katachi

2016 movie (adapted from manga). So far i haven't read anything about it coming to spore.

Love anime. These are my fave anime this year don' forget this year best anime Re Zero and Bungou Stray dogs season 2.

for  older anime Kono Suba is amazingly funny , it parodies every vr games /role playing game type so well it become a huge hit. For current airing anime.working is best comedy anime now. For a little dose of feel good anime natsume  fourth season .

The must-watch anime movie of 2016 is definitely Kimi No Na/ Your Name. The storyline is simply outstanding and the graphics is so brilliant. I love the OST especially the one by Radwimps; they nailed it! 

 

 

The English version of their OST has also just been released last month. Found a new love, Radwimps, through this movie. ^^

@smallboix I did! But it provided the webbies that need login etc or cannot watch. I looking for something like kissanime, can just stream and watch without any hassle, for the current (last) season of Titan. Appreciate your reply bigboix 😘

@renoma1069 Yeah gogoanime don't need login, can just stream and watch. Oh but they label the anime in romanji (romanised japanese). So Attack on Titan is Shingeki No Kyojin

i came across this anime on Netflix called "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" and it was pretty good!

not a massive anime fan though - i started watching like a couple of years ago with Demon Slayer.
