nixorn Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Your Name / 君の名は / Kimi no Na wa (26 Aug 2016, japan) A movie by Makoto Shinkai (5 Centimeters Per Second, Voices of a Distant Star) About a boy in the city and a girl in the countryside, every night, they would dream of living each other's life....is it related to the rare comet? To be expected would be the visuals and the details....hope the storyline would be interesting. Quote

The storyline doesnt seem bad too. Hanabishi 1 Quote

nixorn Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 A Silent Voice / Koe No Katachi 2016 movie (adapted from manga). So far i haven't read anything about it coming to spore. Quote Shouya Ishida, a boy always looking for ways to beat boredom, ends up looking for it in the wrong place. Weirded out by his new classmate, a deaf transfer student named Shouko Nishimiya, he deems her as the target of his ostracizing and bullying. Day after day, Shouya picks on Shouko, unaware of the effects of his thoughtless actions. He finally understands the pain he has inflicted on her when one day, his bullying culminates in her leaving the school, and his classmates begin to shun and harass him every chance they get instead. Determined to right his wrongs, five years later, Shouya, now a third year high school loner, meets Shouko again. Thus begins the story of a young man's path to redemption...... Quote

nixorn Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 Quoted from Rotten Tomatoes. Quote From award-winning director Keiichi Hara (Colorful) and Japanese powerhouse Production I.G (creators of Ghost in the Shell) comes a remarkable story of the daughter behind one of history's most famous artists. As all of Edo flocks to see the work of the revered painter Hokusai, his daughter O-Ei toils diligently inside his studio. Her masterful portraits, dragons and erotic sketches- sold under the name of her father- are coveted by upper crust Lords and journeyman print makers alike. Shy and reserved in public, in the studio O-Ei is as brash and uninhibited as her father, smoking a pipe while sketching drawings that would make contemporary Japanese ladies blush. But despite this fiercely independent spirit, O-Ei struggles under the domineering influence of her father and is ridiculed for lacking the life experience that she is attempting to portray in her art. Miss Hokusai's bustling Edo (present day Tokyo) is filled with yokai spirits, dragons, and conniving tradesmen, while O-Ei's relationships with her demanding father and blind younger sister provide a powerful emotional underpinning to this sumptuously-animated coming-of-age tale. smallboix Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 @renoma1069 Yeah gogoanime don't need login, can just stream and watch. Oh but they label the anime in romanji (romanised japanese). So Attack on Titan is Shingeki No Kyojin Quote
