An African graduate in Taiwan - Inspiring & touching graduation speech delivered in Chinese

Would like to share this video, but please just focus on this graduate's growing up and how he achieved the "impossible dream" - not just in terms of academics/qualification, and a new family too! (ignore other things such as which university, politics etc)

 

I suppose he was a valedictorian delivering the graduation speech, I felt it was inspiring and touching, and a good value/example for us to follow - being resilient! And he actually learnt the Taiwan language and spoke pretty well eh, plus he was humourous too!   🤣

Out of curiosity, if you were in his shoes, would you be able to come this far?

I think I cannot imagine myself going through what he did, his mindset had to be very strong and he stay focused on what he wanted to achieve, kudos to him eh!   👏🏻👏🏻
