I would recommend you to go for Superstar Virgo as this is the largest vessel under Star Cuise that base in SG currently.

It's perfectly alright for 2 guys to share one cabin, as it has a maximum of 4 beds in cabin CA to DD(class of cabin from AA to DD).

If you want to go to Malacca and KL, then it's gonna be Wednesday Cruise where the vessel leaves SG on Wednesday 2359 then return to SG on Friday 1400.

The itinerary is like this(if they haven't change) :

Wednesday : 2359 ~ leaves SG ( Check-in at 2015, boarding at 2030 )

Thursday : 0700 ~ Stop over at Malacca ( for those who join the Malacca+KL tour ) 0900 ~ leaves Malacca 1400 ~ reach Port Klang 2100 ~ leaves Port Klang

Friday : 1400 ~ reach SG

Since I assume this is the first time you going Star Cruise, I would not recommend that you go offboard to KL and Malacca, because these are optional tours where you need to pay additional charges, depends on which tour package you choose.

E.g. A shopping trip to One Utama Shopping Centre cost about $25 for the return bus trip, and you have only like 2+ hours to shop because the buses have fixed timing.

I've been to Superstar Virgo twice and I like it very much, one main reason is that the moment you step on board you can have dinner and move around and participate in all the activities, instead of enduring hours of journey on bus or plane.

There are 5 to 6 meals provided daily where you can dine in three restaurants, namely :

1) Pavillion Room ~ Chinese

2) Bella Vista ~ Western

3) Mediterranean Buffet ~ Mix of International Buffet + Indian Vegetarian Buffet

and they are all included in your cruise fare.

There are whole bunch of programmes from 7am till 12am daily.

There are 4 hot water jaccuzi and one swimming pool on deck 12 (they have added a water slide on it since this January).

There is a jogging track and lots of sun tanning bench on deck 13.

If you are type of active person then you won't feel bored by participating in their activites.

If you are type of lazy person then you can just eat, sleep, laze at the poolside or jacuzzi or sun tanning bench, watch movie(4 movies schedule per day), sing Karaoke(just need to order a drink and you can sing your lungs out), and etc...

Feel free to ask me if you have any question, I'll try my best to answer.

Hi,

They also hv Rendang cruise which departs on Wed also but earlier at 8pm. I wet recently in Apr and enjoyed it very much on balcony class.

In fact, they are having a promo for ppl who are Virgos. Virgos travel free together with one full fare paying pax. It's half price effectively.

I find the Redang cruise more worthwhile than the Malacca/KL one.

Happy cruising!

Hi Guest/Virgo,

Food wise, if you are a Chinese or non-muslim, I don't think you'll have any problems with the food as you can dine in any of the 3 restaurants that I have mentioned; however if you are a muslim, then you can eat at the mediterranean buffet (Deck 12) as this is a no pork, no lard restaurant. Timing wise please refer to the "Star Navigator".

May I know which class of cabin are you staying in? If you're staying in Balcony Class(BC to BA) then you'll be given $200 worth of dinning voucher that you can use to offset your bill in other restaurants like Northern Indian(Halal), Japanese Teppanyaki, Italian, etc...

Game wise they have lot's of them line up in various venue daily, namely basketball, minigolf, line dance(my favourite), etc; just need to refer to the "Star Navigator" that'll be distributed to your room daily.

There'll be some local or taiwanese singer whom performing at Lido Theatre(800 seater) for Friday cruise, depends on the class of cabin, you may need to purchase the concert ticket separately.

You should try their new water slide on Deck 12 swimming pool area, there's this mid section of 5m in length which is transparent that will make you feel like flying on the sea!!!

Their massage price is not too appealing to me ~ $90 or so for 60 minutes of massage.

Are you going on a family trip?
