You can set this up in the SAFRA app - just go to "Facial Recognition" icon on the interface. You will be prompted to take a photo which will be used upon every entry. For the remaining branches, here're the proposed dates of implementation (taken from SAFRA website): 27 May 2026: Mt Faber 1 July 2026: Yishun July 2026: Toa Payoh, Choa Chu Kang September 2026: Jurong Do note that this Facial Recognition Access is only for the swimming pools. Safra member entitled to free swimming pool entry but an additional/ seperate fee to go into their Energy one gym. I believe MF pool now entry by facial recognition so not sure if card / qr code still works. Quote

Seems like someone had reported them to the lifeguards. There were three lifeguards and one security officer waiting outside the toilet area for the individuals to emerge. As I was preparing to leave the premises, I noticed that the two individuals did not appear to be permitted to leave the swimming pool facility. They remained under the supervision of the staff, seemingly pending the arrival of the police. Quote

I regularly swim there on week days noon, never hear life guard mentioned or encounter such incident. only the usual seniors and occasionally 1-2 hot uncle with triangle trunk swimming.. Quote

Initially thought it was for access into Safra mobile app. Didn’t think much of it, as they notified me thru the app way before the announcement to be use on pool entrance. After their announcement , I was sure I could get rejected due to the bad quality. Probably have to redo it at the entrance with their better quality system. Had tried registering using facial recognition at certain hospital but was denied entry multiple times and eventually the security had to cancel the facial recognition method and allow me access thru NRIC scanning. So was very happy I just passed thru without any issue on first attempt. Active SG need to sent someone down to look into the system and perhaps adapt for their use too. I had on multiple occasion been stuck at the entry with their QR code scanning and need staff interventions. Dashy_Boy 1 Quote
