Guest guest Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 You will definately enjoy Cambodia!Breath taking sight and warm people. Please bring with you some sweets, pencils and note pads... for the very poor orphans/children running around barefooted in the streets and forest in Angkor Wat, Siam Reap. I also carry with me single US$1 notes for them. When you see these underprivelaged children, some as young as 3 years old... your heart will break! They may pester you to buy their souvenirs but always with a smile. I know that many sleep in the temple at night and food are provided by the monks. Many house pets live in a better situation than these children.If you have the chance, do make a visit to the orphanages...It will put alot of things in perspective! Quote
