Guest Vanish Posted April 6, 2018 Report Share Posted April 6, 2018 Chlorine bleach rots cotton if too concentrated or left on too long. Also, it turns many fabrics yellowish after a few washes. Look for oxygen bleach (can also be powerful) or a whitener like "Vanish". Every time you remove stained wear, rub something soapy, maybe mixed with water into a paste, into the stains before keeping in laundry pile.
