Guest Massage Nuts
With precaution ,like in any other countries ,in particular developing countries, massage experience can be really pleasurable. The least one expects after a pleasurable massage is to get ripped off !It is useful to know (particularly those newbie to Malaysia) that there were some very recent reports of nasty experiences where money were stolen off your wallet during your massage session ! This happens when you are asked to leave your clothing in a small closet in your personal massage room. Sound safe right? NO !It is believed that some of these places have secret window behind the closet to work through your wallets while you enjoy your massage ! Watch out for those 'runner' on the streets offering massage services for a song. The catch is , nothing is free. However, it does not cost you an arm or leg to enjoy a massage in Malaysia.Established outlets in reputable shopping complex like Sunway Pyramid, Berjaya Time Square, Megamall , Starthill, in Kuala Lumpur , or Queensbay Mall and Gurney Plaza in Penang are safe bet. Smaller one along Bukit Bintang are reported to be ok.Most established massage outlets in Malaysia have a fixed price for the various spa or massage packages offered. In the absence of one, it never hurts and neither rude to ask for the price list prior to the massage session. To find out where the outlets are in Malaysia, www.1massagemalaysia.com has a good selection. From the last count , they have over 200 outlets listed there, covering boutique spa, slimming spa , traditional massage, Thai Massage and outcall massage to cater to the budget conscious as well as those with deep pockets !A simple massage cost as low as RM 70 / hour . Guest Massage Nuts
Those that get raided are normally the lower end outlets located at shop houses etc. Those located in let say , 3 star hotel or above are relatively safer although the services are the same. Good luck
