i hv this problem where I put on weight very fast especially around my waist. dats the only place where my fats like to congregate, so i can look like i hv a lifebuoy perpetually around my waist. It makes me look very odd because i am slim build everywhere else. The fat build up usually happens during the weeks when i get very lazy and very greedy and it can be unforgiving. During these times, i can see the interest in me by other guys drop significantly. at the gym, in clubs, people notice my fats and no one gives me another look. in saunas , i get attention only because they say im very manly and they notice the sizeable bulge between my legs.

however i also have the ability to lose these fats and build a 6 pack relatively easily. it takes alot of work and discipline but i find dat getting a 6pack is also one of the easiest thing to do. im at that stage where i again have a six pack, and based on my recent trip to the sauna im hugely popular again, one after another after another, i get hands all over my chest and abs..i easily get one, get two or even 3 in a room at the same time, all with their attention on me, kissing me, sucking my tits, running their tongues down my abs, licking and sucking my dick and balls, and turning around to give me their bubble butts - not a single one of them asking me if they can fxxk me just because of my 'man' appearance.

I think beauty is still in the eye of the beholder, there are many people who have perfect bodies but suffer from low self esteem so the gym is the means to project their low self worth onto the machines, the need for perfection is in all of us but more so in gays since vanity is a trait we all share very well. After being single for the longest time, I feel that there is someone for everyone, you may be a cub looking for a g-men etc....:-) Surfice to say, just be yourself, whilst learning to fit into the community, my weight has see-sawed, from thin to stocky and after so many years, I am finally happy where I am! I am in a place where I feel healthy, I hit the gym to keep my ailments or family traits in check, more importantly, I do it for myself. I am stocky muscular and love it. I think self confidence is better then moulding oneself into a particular category.

I know one can be easily swayed by fads, its in to hit the gym or its in to wear NUM singlets, but you have to developed and nurture your own self worth and self awareness.

In hindsight, there is no question on whether you should be loved because you are str8 acting or muscular, just be yourself. How you project yourself will invite more hits then just curtsy glances because your pic is hot. :-)

A : No. Not ALL Gays, but the majority of the guys will go for muscular and fit guy. Gays have "types"; Young types, Mature types, Gym type, Guy-next-door type, Rough type, Married men type, etc. The list goes on.

Case 1

My ex used to be slim and somewhat lean. After we were together about a year, he decided to start exercising to become a "G-men". After months of religious workout, the results were good. He starts to get lots of attentions from Facebook and Fridae, etc. From someone whom has a lack of confident, he became someone whom has an overflowing of confident.

Case 2

There was this guy I know from Fridae, whom I thought was really cool and good looking. He is one of those guys who has good looks and who was muscular and fit. Then he sort of disappeared from view and the next time I saw him, he had becomes a chub. When I asked him, why he does that, he says he never liked to be muscular, he always likes chubs and be chub. Also he says it's too hard just to maintain that muscular look all the time, he chose to be himself and be happy.

Well, if you are the type whom are not confident about your appearance, etc. Going to gym and getting yourself fit will help you get the attention and feeds ur ego. But do take note that, with good looks, comes great responsibility too, because some ppl will treat u like a piece of meat and you won't be sure whether they like you for who you are or they only like you because you are a good fxxk. If you don't have the maturity to handle who you've become, you will still be an unhappy guy with a muscular and fit body.

Case 3

I knew a lean tone army boy many many years ago. We dated for awhile but never hit it off. Years later, when I saw him again, my jaw dropped, he has become a muscular hunk and even appears on the papers. The next time I got a call from him, he had attempted to harm himself because he had fallen out of love. And it was a few failed relationships and many years later that he had grown to be more mature and now, he is happily attached with a stable job.

So, even muscular and fit guys gets rejected too. So don't think for a moment that being muscular and fit means you have made it. Being muscular and fit it's just the hardware. Without a good software; your maturity; attitude, etc. you can still be single and alone, etc.

The point one should note about getting muscular & fit is more for health's sake than to attract attentions. Everyone thinks that they are attracted to people whom are muscular and fit, but in actual fact, they are attracted to healthy looking individuals, like a muscular guy in swimming trunks, dragon boaters, etc. So do exercise and get healthy. You'll be surprise the compliments you'll be getting once you start getting healthy.

Those who are gifted with natural appearence stands out the most among the crowd( the crowd: "less gifted".)

Probably people like us, the "less gifted" have to make the tremendous effort just to get others acknowledge us comparing with the more "gifted ones".

We might not even achieve it in the end.

I think the only thing we could do, is to do our best.
