Guest Froth Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 The HDB house is next to chinatown point where the carpark entrance is. The room is bare, very bare minimum. Aircon is hardly cold. Nothing more than having tuina in a shop. U need not go naked, just with underwear is ok. It's only Chinese style massage WITH NO SPECIAL.
Guest Massagegaoot Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Zhu sifu is still operating. As another member rightly pointed out, he operates from a flat in Chinatown. He is a nice and smiling man in his late 40's. Must admit I was quite charmed by his smiling and youthful but manly look. He claims he has just completed his tuina course and is now looking forward to open his own shop but meanwhile he will operate from this flat. Room is acceptable and air con is passable. You can ask him to adjust the temperature. He is quite obliging and offer only to talk if you talk to him otherwise he will just quietly go about his job. I rate his skill as pretty good. I have a injury on my shoulder so he did a good job in relieving the pain. He told me he will be going back to his home in Jiling to visit his family towards end of May for about a week and will be back. It is always nice to chit chat with our China friends as you get to know more about them and China. At the end of it, came away feeling lighter and good to have a relaxing side conversation with him. Too bad, no extras but the warm and nice feelings of his gliding hands and the good massage more than make up for it. Highly recommended.

Anyone visited "HB Health Management - Day Spa" at Fu Lu Shou? I happened to pass by and attracted by the male china masseur in the shop watching TV alone. Asking him about the massage rate he says $45 per hour and male female therapist also can ask for. Anyone tried their skills and was it good? Thanks for sharing.

He did not activate at the moment as roamming in China with a S'pore mobile is expensive. Actually, I find it such a shame that a good tui-na shifu like him can't get a proper employment in Singapore all because of the tight MOM ruling - 9 locals to 1 PRC. Time for them to review and they should go by trade , as not all Industries can be replaced by technologies especially those in the Service Industry which needs human interaction or touch.

All I have to call the shop during weekend to book for his massage. He is doing part time during weekend.

A noodle seller can be called a shifu if he is experience and cooked a bowl of tasty noodles. A tailor can be called a shifu, if he can sewn a great piece of suit. Eventually, almost everyone is being called a shifu out of courtesy.Not only monk or martial artists can be called shifu.
