Grindr is the most popular one.

There are a few more. BoyAhoy, jack'd, Qrushr etc etc.

Just type 'gay' in app store and a whole list will come out.

I would like just to say that Scruff is really amazing but it seems that there are quite a few people who aren't chubs there and label themselves as 1 (maybe cos they've a tummy or something)... and also slim guys who are actually unaware that Scruff is a bear/chub/chaser and totally shocked me when they say they're not into bigger guys.

I am using Grindr on Android. Go marketplace to download free.

It is like irc with pics so u can preview the profiles before hitting on yyour target. It will show who is on line for immediate flirting ;)

grindr isn't supported by my phone even though it is android

there are compatibility issues within android system/phones you see

the good thing about iphone is that they have everything (almost) standardized

thanks for explaining how grindr works anyways

I am a new user for this smart phone thingie. I find Scruff is much more fun than Grindr

1.u can also see international users who u can hookup with before going to their countries.

2. U can view who has checked your profile. It is like eye contact in the sauna. At least u know there is some interest and if u check him back, he will know too. But really like the sauna, both will wait for the other to make the first move lol

3. If he really likes u, he can woof at you. It is like the way some wolf whistle at u at the sauna; very flattering lol

True only almost standardised, many apps also don't work even on iphone 3g, some even for 3gs.

No phone is better than the other except to those fanbois.

9monsters is popular in japan, didn't find as many members in sgp there as jack'd.

the interface is rather confusing too

I agree with you. I see the same people around me no matter where I go.

Looks like it'll be mainly useful when I turn it on in Japan.

didn't get myself acquainted with any japanese from 9monsters when i was there in jan, it seems as though 9monsters is meant for japanese only (or maybe i just had no luck ;) )

jack'd is still the app to make friends with japanese in japan who are willing to befriend foreigners... though jack'd crowd is not as heavenly as 9monsters' :P
