Guest Passingthru Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Unless you're booking a specific sunrise tour or staying at that hotel( Manohara? ) within the Borobudur grounds, watching the sunrise is a bit of a scam. You see, the grounds only open officially at 6am which is equivalent to our 7am. I think the sun has risen quite a bit by then, no? Quote
tookidooki Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 No a scam. I joined the sunrise tour and started the journey from Yogja at 0500. You dont have to stay at the Manohara. Highly recommended as it was very peaceful and quiet before the crowd comes it. It was a great trip for me. Quote
