waterballoon
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5spxBhVyfcLyrics Translation:Why am I crying? Why am I lost? Why did I stop? Please tell meWhen will I grow up?How long can I stay a child?Where have I come running from?Where am I running to?I had no place to live. I couldn't find one.I don't know if I could have any hope for the future. They always said I was a strong child. They praised me, saying "you must be strong to not cry."I didn't want those words at all.So I pretended not to understand. Why are you laughing? Why are you by my side? Why are you leaving me?Please tell me.When did you become strong?Since when have you felt weakness? How long must you waitfor the day you understand to come? The sun is rising. I must go soon.I can't stay in the same place forever. You will someday be betrayed by your trust in people.I thought it was the same as being rejected. At the time I didn't have that kind of strength.I definitely knew too much. They always said I was a strong child. They praised me, saying "you must be strong not to cry."The more people said things like that, the more even laughing became agony.I was born alone. I'll go on living alone.I thought that surely that kind of life is appropriate. Quote "The two of us are living in the same era, believing in the same future Yesterday’s tears and today’s smiles will stay true We’ve experienced the same pain, we’ve gathered the same kindness And we’ll turn them into the strength to live on tomorrow" progress - ayumi hamasaki

TheVisitors
I must be a very kid when I watched this 80s TV series...."The Life and Times Of Grizzly Adams" and that series must had ran for a few years.I think the older members here may have some impression or memories of this series.I think it was about a man who was called James Adams, who, in the 1880s, was wrongly accused of a murder he did not commit, thus he fled to the high mountains seeking fugitive among nature. The drama was filmed in the Mountains in British Colombia in the Pine Forest of the Appalachian. He adopted an orphaned grzzly bear cub, who grew up to be his only companion. He had two more human friends...one Mad Jack and a Red Indian. I think Jack owned a donkey called Number 7.They helped many lost visitors in the wilderness, and taught them to appreciate Nature. In fact it was this series that taught me the beauty of nature and how to truly appreciate it.I can never forget the series had this song, which sounded very closed like John Denver's Country Road.It somehow invokes that Utopia, we all believe in ourselves to go return and live there forever. Its like a place where peace, happiness love and harmony co-existed, where people no longer need to run or need to hide,of who they really are.Its freedom but paradoxically, melancholic and nostalgichttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeFZF502hF4&feature=related

Guest Euouae90
It's very normal for us to have one or two current songs stuck in our head and keep playing. But, to the best of my knowledge, we have to be aware that it may be a bad sign. You may have to worry if the song is playing uncontrollably, looping thousand of times, take over your thinking as this is may be a sign of auditory halucination. I myself used to have this, and once I have been told that I have a mild obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It's really painful not being able to control your thought at the time when you need to, for example when you need to study, focus on something, etc. But now Im pretty much better. It's much lesser. Just share a bit about my personal experience.

TheVisitors
This song has being around more than 30 years, but it is still holds a strong evergreen tear jerking sentiments. As I grew up, its meaning and sentiments are realized as you experience the love for a old friend whom you have not seen for a long time, or a love secretly haboured for someone you like, but dare not pick up the phone, just to dial to hear the person's voice.Neil Diamond's Hello Again. It holds a strong lonely sort of longing, a nostalgia, perhaps somethings can never be. TheVisitors
A one hit from Charlene - I have never been to me - I think the older members will remember it was a big evergreen hit in the early 80s. From a ballad, how a prostitute narrates and confines to an ordinary woman, the price of freedom she has to pay for.In short, freedom is a price one has to pay for, when one hedonstically indulges the pleasures of this secular world. Its quite linked to older gays here I conversed recently. They were once good looking, handsome, and with bodies that many will die to touch. With all the assets they have, they took the world by storm, and painted the town and their lives so glaringly red, the life of so many casual free sex, parties , the booz, the drugs and the orgies. Now when old, and when they look in retrospect of their lives, they now realized it was an illusion they lived in and lived through, created by the choices they made for themselves. They expressed their loneliness, and the need for settling down now.In fact because this song promoted subtle promiscuosity, I heard it was banned or was it restricetd in broadcasting. One very interesting point about its lyrics was, people couldn't figure out was it fought, or fxxk.Listen for yourself and you will know why. LYRICS IN ENGLISHI'm sure that we're waitingFor the days when we can see you againWe'll wave and shoutOn a road lined with cherry blossom treesNo matter how hard it gotYou always smiledSo even when doubt crept inI felt like I could do my bestWithin the fading sceneI can hear that day's songCherry blossoms, cherry blossomsThey bloom nowKnowing their destiny is to fallFarewell, my friendIt's time to leaveThose feelings that never changeNow...Maybe I could sayWords without lies nowYou shine as I pray for your futureWith words of truthThe city moves,As if to hurry us onCherry blossoms, cherry blossomsThey just drift in the airI believe in a moment of rebirth someday.Don't cry, my friendIt's time for our painful goodbyePut on that real smileCome onCherry blossoms, cherry blossomsCome now, ride the windBask in the light that cries out foreverFarewell, my friendLet's meet here againOn a road lined with cherry blossom trees

TheVisitors
Ah ... this song and Charlene are both very interesting!Interesting history of the songAnd she's trying to make a comeback ... @60Thanks for the info.Actually Charlene recorded two albumns, both are under the Motown label. I have them in my collection. The " I have never been to Me " albumn actually contained a few good songs, well written with good melodies, of course, the credit goes to her crystal clear voice. But I was very surprised that they were not broadcasted to climb up the chartsExample I think the duet she did with Stevie Wonder was in the second.
