Its something about a village(?)Basically it was a love story between two cousins, who lived in a village near a river.They did fall in love with each other (he came back to visit the village after living in the States after quite a few years)but never revealed their feelings. The day she was bethroned to marry another guy, did they finally spill out the beans.Two years ago on HKG, I did had a rare chance to have a chat with Sylvia Chang for about half an hour. She is really talented, unassuming, unpretenious, smart and knowledgeable..What a Lady !!If you had being to China and view the Yellow River or the Heng Chow River, or even the Ganges, where people do live on boat houses, its is a very amazing and beautiful sight, to see so many boats floating on the river, and listening to the fishermen casting their nets to fish, as they sing to dawn.
