Guest Guest Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Looking at the models, is that true that fair skin is deemed as the creame de la creame and is preferred In Thailand? How about countries in the Asia Pacific region?
iamziz Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Looking at the models, is that true that fair skin is deemed as the creame de la creame and is preferred In Thailand? How about countries in the Asia Pacific region? Whitening stuff is EVERYWHERE in Thailand. People I have met generally (not all) would say fair skin is preferred. I don't think it is the same for most Asian countries except a few probably. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 善待对人。麻烦用英文来表达信息。不是每个人都会看的懂中文 。| “People need to learn the art of making an argument. I don't use any of those stuff and I love to get darker ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 善待对人。麻烦用英文来表达信息。不是每个人都会看的懂中文 。| “People need to learn the art of making an argument. Guest Euraysian Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Those who are interested to know why do Thais prefer and LOVE fair skin, the following link will explain why.http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luk_khruengBasically they prefer Fair skin and high nose bridge people as it denotes people of higher-caste in the past.In Singaporean context, it would be the Eurasians.http://www.blowingwind.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=42341&page=8#entry790954

You are absolutely right. Fair skin is the sought after skin color in asia, be it in China, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia etc You will notice that most of them in the entertainment scene (K-pop etc) or in the upper class society have fair skin. I remember watching a Youtube and they ask the girls why they are so crazy about the K-pop male singers...besides the comment that they are handsome, they also say they are so fair.

It was so sunny and I came back with a very tanned look.As I was always fair, a lot of my friends did not like the new look. One commented that I look so 'chow tar' and preferred my original skin tone. He said fair skin made me look like a 'noble man from a upper class. I looked much older more 'pie miah' with darker skin.I have Indian and malay friends who are crazy for that Kpop fair-skin idol look, too.

My childhood memories tells me otherwise. Eurasians were referred to as gragoks or smelly prawns because majority of them were dark-skinned and from poor background and therefore looked upon as inferior. I personally have nothing against them, in fact, I am interested in their culture and their food. But just want to set the record right that they were never ever looked upon as the fairer and sought-after people. Suck my tits and I'll lick your balls. Lick my arse and I'll suck your cock. All in sex is fair. The only bad thing about sex is that it doesn't last long enough. Read my blog - www.anasianjourney.blogspot.com

Guest Guest Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 i dun like fair skin. i still prefer guys w tan skin.
Guest Guest Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 fair skin makes most guys look feminine to me. tan skin more manly. look at Louis Koo, more sexy and man in dark skin than when he was fair.

Some blacks have this shiny smooth skin and are called black pearl.
Guest Guest Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 It would be interesting to darken one of the above pictue with angel wings and put both together to make comparison. This model looks better with fair skin. If he is darker, he would look good with goatee and trim beard?

Actually, he did this because he lacks fire in his 5 elements. But he is actually quite handsome when he was fair. The darker complexion on him reminds me of Adam Cheng, though manly but much older. In terms of mannerism I know of some tanned guys whom many thought are manly, behave like wet market aunties. So I guess an authentic manly gay is defined by his essence and manners.
Guest Guest Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 I do want to set my records right by saying that there are different Eurasians in Singapore such as Indian Mix Portugese or Chinese mix American.Europeans and Asians mix are Eurasians. Americans and Asians mix are Americasians.
Guest Guest Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Europeans and Asians mix are Eurasians.Americans and Asians mix are Americasians. The usage of Eurasian can STILL be applied on American mix Asian. American has no distinct race. Just like singaporeans. And if u want to say an american white mix asian, it would be called AMERASIAN.
