It was a good thing that I could get myself to cry then because it really helped to reduce my stress and tension. Other ise, I would have already ended up in one of the mental hospitals. There were many instances where I became very despaired, felt like almost having mental break down, I went for counseling and even seeking the help of psychiatrist, hoping they could do miracles to eradicate and stop all my morbid thoughts. Sadly, none o them managed to do that for me. The best advice I got was to learn to accept the fact and it's the easiest way out. I really regretted after seeing the psychiatrist. I had left a record in the hospital. Since the last time I saw him, I dare not go ba k to the same hospital again when I am ill. So afraid that other doctors or nurses will find out once they go through my medical file. All these miseries and agonies had led me to a series of physical illness as well. I discovered the swelling of my thyroid glands when I was 17. At 21, I contacted tuberculosis and subsequently I was diagnosed to have suffered from hypertension at 23. was told I am essential hypertensive. As usual the doctors didn't know what are the causes of my illnesses. All diagnostic tests they had done on me seemed to produce normal results. Of course, I didn't tell them what I was going through emotionally. Now I am 37 going on to be 38 soon. Frankly, I'm very weary and lonely. So far, I had managed to be strong and not do anything foolish. Everyday I'm living in fear that there will be the one day when I won't be able to take all these anymore. I have very few friends and not forget to mention it's quite impossible for me to have a best friend. I always preferred to avoid people. Whenever I need to be with someone or a group of people, I wouldn't talk unless necessary, that's when I was asked ith a question. I would just give a simple answer and retreated to my dumb world.
