I think in life, one has to make an effort to get anything. In this case, Dawn77 made the effort to get what he wants. If anyone wants to get in touch with him, he will have to make the effort to contact Dawn77.

Granted Dawn77 could have made things easier by including his email in his msg, it's also not too difficult to msg him in the main (I don't think anyone would mind, some might even be asking the same question!) and ask for it or as oralb suggested, become a member and msg him privately (if he is too shy to put his email in the first place).

I think Dawn77 didn't perceive the problem that would ensue from his innocent (or maybe not so innocent ) request but ultimately, it's a quest for some fun and those who are interested should make an effort.

Don't let the lack of a contact dampen your spirit or stroke your anger, rather, focus on the possible enjoyment of the chase or when you finally get together. Most of all, don't forget to tell us what happened. Afterall, I believe all of us would love to hear of a real hot and steamy encounter!

Anyways, I'm a really young chaser and the thing I like most about chubs is the huggability (I made that word up).

A cub is a small version of a chub. Meaning someone who's almost a chub.

Stocky is someone who is more meaty, has more mass instead of fats.

But did you know that in the US, cub is how they describe a young chub?

Chubby = by stats assuming ht to be 1.75 if weight is 100-110 is consider chubby

cubby = 1.70m weight 80-89 consider cubby waist line 34-38

stocky = 1.75m weight 75-82 waist line can be from 32-36

chubby guys tend to have the height let say 1.70 and above and their tummy is ususally rounder and more protruding...eg: moses lim

cubby guys tend to be shorter in height like say 1.60-1.70,their tummy are smaller,more proportional in the mass around the body. eg:zeng zhi wei

Stocky guys can be of any height, they tend to be meaty,but ususally they have slight tummy or may not....a meaty meaty guy is consider stocky..eg;tay bing hui

Wow...I thought that is a pretty detailed classification.

In my opinion cubby guys are the most unfortunate lot: for those who like them big, they find cubs too slim and brand them as stocky; for those who likes them small they brand cubs as too big and brand them as chubs.

By the way I am 29/168/85 waist 35-36 inches, a cub who likes matured cubs and chubs

Actually wat i think as a chaser is that some problems firstly is their image due to their body(overweight) or when they see someone better than them like lean body.. they just want to avoid(too shy la :oops: :oops: )

Secondly is that there are chasers (chasers are ppl who love and like chub or cub) in sg but it is hard to find as they are either attach or they dont want to fall into relationship due to the past?

That why there are some chub like chub as they knew that there no chaser around so is like no choice situation.. as i m in chaser/chub circle...

But wat i want to say is as long as u are alive, there is still hope as long as u got the will to do .. then there will be someone waiting for u...

Now.. from my nick, it is obvious that i am chubby myself (errr... not the flabby chubby type...) I won't say that what sky said is entirely wrong.... but there are some mis-interpretations on his part.. I am a chub and I like chub so to say. Chub like chub is not because they can't find slim chasers that adore them! In fact, chub who ikes chub finds slim replusive (sorry if the word is a little too strong for you liking)

I have to admit that looks does play an important part in getting a relationship to start rolling.... But it is the feeling, that keeps the relationship on going... When you reach that point, looks becomes secondary....

as for looking for a love in singapore... Yes, it is difficult.. The reasons beoing that the Singapore circle of chubs and chasers are so damn small! Minus away the type you dun like, and those that dun like you.. you can probably count them on your fingers and toes... And then, we have yet to minus those that are already attached... So i guess.. you should cast your net further than our own shores... I am not encourageing LDR though.. just a suggestion....

my weight used to be 112kg and now im 100kg and my height is 178

hmmm.. there are about a dozen different definitions out there as wha tis a chub/cub/stocky/meaty etc...

well i think not only a weight is taken into considerations here... there is always a ratio of weight against height... you can't call a peson a chub just because he is 80kg but 1.8m in height right? or how about one who is only 70kg but ony 1.6m? surly he is not slim!

Anyway, here is my definition:-

1) Chub - anyone who has got jelly tummy and flabby all over... you know, the

type that bounce all over the place even when walking...

2) Muscle Chub - basically a chub but not jello... more tone in all areas except the

tummy...

3) Stocky - a smaller version of the muscle chub. Get a muscle chub and take

away his big tummy for a slightly smaller one with

"not-so clear" six-pecs and you have got it! In Japan, i think its call

G-Men

4) Meaty - 1 or 2 size down from stocky... almost the same type of weight/height

ratio but minus the toned arms, thighs and chest..... or take someone

slim and add another 5kg of fat! hahaha.....

5) Slim - Errrr.. i think i shall skip the definition for this category.. heehee

yes, the different terms can be confusing and these terms can mean different things in different regions or countries.

i was told by an american that stocky would mean someone more on the chubby side in USA than how it would be interpreted in UK.

going by chubbybear's definition, i would maybe fall into type 2, muscle-chub? i'm about 80kg 160cm, go figure yourself...

i may be considered chubby in local/ asian context but am considered stocky or cub-size in the west where body frames r generally larger than asians.

anyway, i'm glad someone corrected the idea that chubs go for chubs because slims didn't want them. I'm a chub 4 chub and slims freak me out...i prefer type 1 & 2 (anyone in these categories? u can pm me, hehe)

i almost wanted to pull out my personal on a website because i kept getting msgs from stocky and slims. I lamented to my friend n he advised that i specify on my profile i m not into slims or stocky.

society, in general, do not favour chubs at all. Look at how celebrities had to maintain or reduce their weight to stay popular n be accepted by the public.

This is the main reason, i feel, for the lower self-esteem of many chubs. so to those chubs out there, u gotta learn to love yourselves b4 others can love u. why? cos loving oneself brings about healthy self-esteem n others will be attracted to u by your confidence (not over-confidence).

Its not right to say that its difficult for a chub to find his true love these days. The fact of the matter is: it is generally difficult for one to find true love these days, regardless if u are a chub or chaser or part of the main stream gay community.

I feel that all of us are facing the same problems in our work and lives, experiencing the hurt from past relationships, fear of being rejected...again and so on and so forth. These issues do not apply exclusively to the chubs, or the chasers...even those in the straight world face them.

Perhaps the right way to address this is to look at ourselves and explore the root cause as to why is it that we are left on the shelf as a bunch of rejects. Lets face it: it takes two hands to clap. While it is human nature for us to push the blame to the other party (or the society) lets be more productive and look at the areas where we may have gone wrong, address them and correct them.
