Why Should Asians Have Such Naturally Clear Skin?

Blender88

Recommended Posts

As a European I had a few moles on my body. I didn't like them so I simply got them removed. Very quick and easy - gone.

But I always notice that Asian nationalities have very FEW skin blemishes - why?

How do you guys escape this imperfection?

Here's an example of what I mean. I think the two friends may be Thai.

They dun just have smooth skin (silkiness is expected in Asia.) Their skin is also of even colour and flawless with no marks or moles. It is so unfair! Is there a medical reason you Easterners are so lucky?

Blender... I think you are half right about the different climate thingy. However my experience I got when I stayed in Sydney for a couple of years was that I had flawless skin and it glows!!!

I guess it is due to the dry climate. I had outbreak on my face once I back to SG!

I think your topic title sounds a bit "racist " if someone read it for the first time,

the reply from a learned person , would be why should not Asians have such naturally clear skin, are you saying that Asians do not deserve or somehow are less deserving of naturally clear skin.

But having read your whole post, i get a better idea, anyway with all the prevelant political correctness of being a western white person, you could just shoot yourself in the foot anytime you utter anything slightly negative about another racial group.

But , you aren't, are you. I mean the racist part.

But the thing about, a lot of western people like to lump everyone into the Asian catch all term, in your video , you are saying you like Thai(South East Asian native) skin clarity and maybe color right.

Can I say that , these general group of South East Asians belong to a economically vulnerable group ?

They generally get exploited to shoot these low cost sex videos and get uploaded onto internet to feed a western market .

Some social commentors need to do a research .

I think those Asians that have good skin usually are from Taiwan, HK or China. In Singapore, I think the weather is not good for our skin as the sun is too strong. i remember that when I spent my holidays in Vancouver where some of my family members live, my skin got better than when I am in Singapore.

Gosh, heavy stuff.

Basically I just wonder why you guys don't get 'moles'. Very very few.

Whereas we get them - sometimes a lot.

In my title I didn't mean SHOULD that way.

I meant: Why do you think it is the case that Asians have such clear skin?

That's why the suggestion 'Diet and climate' was helpful and interesting.

Of course, I would never generalise about the many different ethnic and national 'families' in the East.

Even so, clear, fine-textured skin is a characteristic shared by them all. The rest of the world marvels at it.

As a matter of fact, PAIGE, I dislike nearly all pxxno 'starring Thais. It is so obviously exploitative and those film-makers should be prevented from making money out of young people who are short of cash.

The example I chose, however showed a rather affectionate scene between two well-nourished guys. They have fine skin because they eat well and live healthy lives. Must be.

Exploitation of the young happens everywhere, especially in America by pxxnographers. They trick white students into actions for money.

But it doesn't work! pxxn is never attractive unless the viewer can sense that the participants are happy, self-confident and doing it for fun.

The French understand this and make the sexiest films. The best gay pxxn in the world is by BEL AMI. The finest western models taken to a luxury resort. Obviously paid plenty and given a great time.

OMG! I've gone "off topic!". I will be punished by the Mods!

Because when God created mankind, some came out too soon, some were over cooked but we came out just nice...hahaha...don't take me too seriously...

I think its our diet and climate. Less consumption of process food.

but my skin damn chui leh....

the only reason i know why its chui is because i sleep late. i stressed myself too much and my room is probably too dusty/bedsheet dusty. as i sleep near the window.

Come on, Spencer - take care of your health! First step: start to rise one hour earlier. Or more!

Then you will break the habit of refusing to go to bed. You will be so tired by the end of the day, you will be in bed

and asleep by 11 or 10 or whatever is your ideal.

I think Northern Asians have better complexion and that is mainly due to the weather - hot and humid in Summer and cold and dry in Winter. South East Asians have a diet with lots of chili and spices and that can cause skin problems.

Its just a difference in genetics I suppose e.g. Orientals are less hairy than Occidentals.

So B88, while you might like smooth skin, am sure there are people out there that want more hair on their body. To each his own, just be happy with what god gave you. :)

I suppose we got so hairy because we were always so f*cking cold in the Northern Hemisphere.

Kept us a little bit warmer....brrrrr!

Beijing and Madrid are roughly at the same latitude (40 °N); and both can be pretty cold in winter...

Anyway, differences and diversity are among the pleasant things in this world.

I am hairless by nature.

My ang mo ex-bf(s) marveled at my smoothness.

Perhaps my skin is just too thick for hair to protrude out (?)

I do NOT need to go waxing because my thighs had never had a hair on them.

However I prefer hairy men.. just like hairy crab!

Beauty regime is a must to maintain smooth skins.

Hydrate the skin as and when necessary.

Apply a thin layer of night cream before sleep,

Having sufficient sleep, balanced diet and adopting a positive attitude towards life are tantamount to better glow, smoother skin.

Ultimately, we want to look attractive to others.

Blender88, I have the answer for you. I don't have the title of the documentary, but it was shown previously on our TV here (sometime back, my memory fails me). It has to do with the hemisphere and the evolution of migrating men. The documentary is about research on different coloured skin and their distribution across the world. Interestingly for me is, that a baby in the womb of an african mother is alredy black before birth, why so, external influences and years of genetics evolution to protect from the harsh african sun.

I'm highly suspecting moles are part to do with the skin and UV light (we know there's UV A and UV B light).

Yep , I saw that sorta BBC produced type ver heavy documentary,

It went something like this, since Human ancestors originated in the African continent, naturally we all had dark skin and curly hair, afro all over , but then a sub of natural mutation of fairer skinned african type people came into being and then their light skin was not suited to Africa's hot and that time more humid weather . So these early fair skinned ancestors started to migrate in search of cooler climates around the world , so they went to turkey area and eventually ended up in russia siberia and the east asia areas like china, korea and then crosssing the sea into japan.

We do have moles but less of the freckles type i guess. even with constant sun exposure we will develop less frecles then someone who is a redhead, redbeard skin type.

Yes, that's interesting. And probably true. The 'white' race has adapted to colder climates - over millions of years -

lost its protective tan and become pale.

No longer needing protection against strong sunlight (provided by the tan component in the skin)

we have actually lost ALL natural protection in sunlight.

People worst affected are 'red-heads' or Celtic types often found in Ireland and Scotland - far north on the planet.

This Celtic sub-group with 'ginger' red hair is "aspirin-white".

They get freckles quickly, having also inherited plenty of moles from their forebears. But freckles can diminish again (in the shade) and even disappear.

Inherited moles can only be removed by the doctor - even though it is the simplest thing to have done.

So it is a disaster for some (not all) white people to visit climates with strong sunlight.

Our skin goes red at the beach when exposed to the sun, unless we put on loads of sunblock. Even then...

With moderate sunlight exposure white skin gets freckles - but maybe also, moles are a generational, longer-term reaction against sunlight.

Europeans from the Mediterranean area (Italians, Greeks, Turks etc) have black hair and good suntan - they have the protection they need in their sunny countries. Like Arabs and Indians and Sri Lankans, they are also f*cking hairy, but that's a different subject! Haha.laugh.png

One exception is the Scandinavian countries of northern Europe: Sweden [Swedes], Norway {Norwegians] and Denmark [Danes]. Swedish people (Swedes) are blonde, have very straight, very fair hair. Many of them tan very nicely and - like Chinese - they don't get much freckles nor moles.

Also (did you know this?) some of their descendants (from historical conquest) are found today in Poland - these Poles (together with Czechs and some other Central Europeans) also have fine, non-hairy, unblemished skin. They are rather white, but in sunshine, they can pick up an attractive, creamy suntan. Such skin type sub-groups have fewer moles - often none - just like Asians.

Thanks, PAIGE and Keyboard, for bringing this focus to the subject.

oh man i got a lot of moles! D: lol

Talk to your doctor. Some years ago I had an Indian doctor who was excellent. I made an appointment and he removed each one in a moment. Soon there was no mark where they had been. It's just no big deal and the result is very satisfactory.
