Fast cars is such a sad song.

A strange feeling of resigned hopelessness. A dream, but, just a dream.

My fave is Talking about a revolution. Heard on radio that it was banned in South Africa when Mendela was still in prison.

Don't you know? We're talking about a revolution and it sounds...like a whisper.

Heard this from Casey Kasem's show that this song was sung by prisoners (in South Africa?)

For a while, I really like Sandra.

I remember walking along Orchard with my Sec schoolmates at midnight, carrying a mini-compo blasting Sandra's music. Later, she would sing for Enigma.

But here's On the tray

Every time I hear Wonderful Life, I'll think of the first time I visited a go-go bar in Bangkok. There's this guy who gyrated and writhed while holding a lit candle, while the melting wax dripped onto his sinewy body.

While he grimaced, the song goes...'No need to run, and hide. It's a wonderful, wonderful life...'

Stevie Nicks rule! Ok, this may come across as bland and unspectacular initially but trust me, it'll just grow on you, thanks to the unorthodox lackadaisical and at times incomprehensible vocals. By the way, she is also highly influential to numerous artists, we're talking about the likes of Laura Branigan, Belinda Carlisle, Sheryl Crow, Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson etc etc....!!!

Stevie Nicks...her voice is very unique and untame.

My favourite of hers is Dreams but this also comes close. Gypsy

and her solo effort and the guitar riff which was sampled by Destiny Child's Bootylicious.
