Anyone care to share on where you can get well made Steaks...so far Hippopotamus has not disappointed me yet but any other recommendations?

If you don't mind the pricing, try Black Angus.

Its about $40-$70 for their Ribeye. Delicious.

Black Angus is situated at the end of Orchard Road, next to Modesto's. Along Wheelock, and you have to walk about 5 minutes to get there.

Hmm...If u do a little light cooking urself and have some cash to spare...and eat other meats other than steak...you can do a little light panfrying by buying Karubi beef slices at either Isetan Japanese Supermarket at Shaw Towers Basement OR Meidi-ya Supermarket at Liang Court Basement....it has VERY good marbling for its price and is RELATIVELY quite affordable compared to higher end cuts of beef... Happy trying!..

Morton's, ruth's chris, lawry's. Take your pick. But I have never been to any of those though. Cant bear to pay so much. But I will definitely try them someday.

Expensive ones would be Lawry's , but I only tried that once years ago .

But those of us poorer folks can opt for Outback Steakhouse . Actually cannot really throw away coffeeshop choices since some can be pretty good .

I was Dissapointed in CUT. It to me did not live up to expectations. The meat was not flavorful, n too dry which is strange as I ordered med rare.

I will want to try raffles grill"s steak as its 50% off for 2 as my bf has the feed at raffles card.

I'm not sure if the Outback he's talking about is Outback Steakhouse , but there's one at Millenia Walk . I've been there once , it's pretty good price for their food .
