Guest Hard
If someone died while having a hard-on, does his hard-on stay that way or will it go soft? If all his blood stopped flowing when he died, then by right his cock will remain hard even when he is dead correct? What do u think? Or any body with good physiological & biological knowledge here that can share your expertise on this?

Zirconium
In the biological sense, when one dies, the hard-on will not stay at all.You got to know how an erection occurs. We have erection because blood is pumped into our dick. however, when one dies, the heart stops pumping blood to the rest of the body including the dick. It is not possible to maintain an erection after dying. In addition, all of our organs, tissues, cells in our body require oxygen to function. When the heart stops, oxygen is not transported to rest of the body. This also explains why our skin turns pale when we die because hemoglobin is darker in color when it lacks oxygen Edited July 20, 2012 by Zirconium
Guest hard question
Are you necrophilic? You want to have sex with corpse??Nope I do not want to have sex with corpse, and also I am neither flex nor btm.Asking such a question does not mean I want to have sex with corpse, in the same way that when a gay asks a question about female reproductive system it does not mean that he wants to have sex with a girl. If that is the case, blood that has already been in the arms or the penis will stay in the arms and penis respectively right? Neither moving away nor moving into those parts. If that is the case, then would the blood that causes the penis to be hard remains where the blood is (in the hard penis)? If so, then does it mean that the penis will stay hard? Guest HARD question
Thank you Zirconium very much for your reply.Since the heart stop pumping blood to the rest of the body, does that mean that the heart will also stop pumping blood away from the rest of the body as well? If that is the case, then would the blood that causes the penis to be hard remains where the blood is (in the hard penis)? If so, then does it mean that the penis will stay hard?In addition to the above, I just discover this paragraph from an article about erection in dead bodies:"Death by hanging, whether an execution or a suicide, has been observed to affect the genitals of both men and women. In women, the labia and clitoris will become engorged and there may be a discharge of blood from the vagina. In men, "a more or less complete state of erection of thepenis with discharge of urine, mucus or prostatic fluid is a frequent occurrence ... present in one case in three." Other causes of death may also result in these effects, including fatal gunshot wounds to the brain, damage to major blood vessels, and violent death by poisoning. A postmortem priapism is an indicator that death was likely swift and violent."From the above, I infer that it is possible for a dead person to maintain a hard-on. Example, if a person is in the midst of sex, and he suddenly died of heart attack or died from someone shooting him in his head (his thinking head, not his pleasure head ), then he may maintain his erection. Guest HARD question
another artilce:"What many people do not know is that the erection is a passive action. In fact, when men do not have erection, the penis makes an effort: the smooth muscles of the arteries at the base of the penis must stay contracted, in order to impede the blood filling the penis. (In fact, most aphrodisiacs, including Viagra, contain a chemical(s) that relax these muscles). No wonder dead people can have erections. A death erection (also named "angel lust") is a postmortem erection happening when the man dies vertically or face-down and the corpse remains so.When the body is dead, the smooth muscles of the arteries relax (in fact, die) but this is not enough: the blood cannot enter the penis as the heart no longer pumps it, creating pressure for entering the penis' vessels. In the dead body, only gravitation acts on the blood. This means that the blood accumulates at the lowest point of the body, provoking a swelling of the dead tissue; the upper located part of the body discolors, leaving the dead body's lividity. In the mentioned cases, the blood enters by gravitation into the dead penis, causing an erection. When a person is hanged, the blood will accumulate in its lower part: legs and feet. If the legs are filled with blood, the blood in the waist can causes an erection, entering the penis's erectile tissue. As long as the blood is not clotted, the body must stay in that position to maintain the death erection.Death erection can also be provoked by a traumatic death, especially asphyxiation (like in strangulation or hanging), being induced by an arousal which, of course, have very little to do with sex, accompanying the final spasms of the nervous system, and in this case ejaculation may take place. Some link this to brain or spinal cord injuries caused by the noose, as priapism in living men has been associated with such conditions. On war time, death erection made an excellent war trophy, a method of humiliating the enemy by displaying their posthumous copulating organ.Hanged women too can present a corespondent to this, translated trough engorged labia and vaginal discharges.Other rapid or violent deaths too can cause angel lust: bullet wounds to the brain or large blood vessels or poisoning." Guest HARD questions
This is sick. Are you planning to murder rape somebody? Seriously, this kind of question is so weird and disgusting! Yuck!Whether one finds the topic sick or not is subjective. Some straight people find the discussion of gay sex very sick and very disgusting too - that does not mean it is illegitimate for others to discuss gay sex.As EasleyLim pointed out to you, such questions are worthwhile to ponder on as they result in progress in science in better understanding the human body.Asking such a question does not mean one is planning to "murder rape" somebody, just as when someone is asking question about fighter planes does not mean someone wants to drive a fighter plane to kill people. Yuck!I repost here after amending my sentences for better clarity:Whether one finds the topic sick or not is subjective. An analogy: some straight people find the discussion of gay sex very sick and very disgusting too - that does not mean it is illegitimate for others to discuss gay sex. In a similar way, even when some people like you find this thread topic disgusting, that does not mean that this thread topic is illegitimate. As EasleyLim pointed out to you, such questions are worthwhile to ponder on as they result in progress in science in better understanding the human body.Asking such a question does not mean one is planning to "murder rape" somebody, just as when someone is asking question about fighter planes does not mean someone wants to drive a fighter plane to kill people. Guest Get help dude
Next will be some weirdos asking if a dead person can ejaculate and produce ghost babies or do soul transfer by doing anal sex. Why would scientist event want to research this? Produce dead body sex toy? This is really eccentric and dangerous, we may nt know what the person asking this has on his mind or may trigger other weirdo's mind into doing those wierd stuffs.. Ppl pass away, let them go in peace, it's already poor thing enough to have to go through body autopsy.. Seriously....

We should not avoid asking questions just because those questions makes some of us uncomfortable or disgusted or weird. If you are not interested in the topic, you can choose not to get involved.Just as some straght people finds a discussion of gay sex very disgusting and very uncomfortable and very weird, that does not mean that gay sex should not be discussed among those people, both straight & gay, who are interested in the topic of gay sex.A straight guy asking a question on gay sex does not mean that he is interested in doing gay sex. Similarly, asking a question on the erection of dead bodies (a involuntary biological reaction that does not involve the consciousness of the dead person) does not mean that one is interested to have sex with the dead or to get personally involved in it.Science (and Philosophy) fundamentally means there is no boundary in asking and exploring questions adn topics, whether or not there exist any practical use of the topics/questions. derryfawne
I think it's a no. Based on my limited knowledge that the heart stops pumping blood onto it.Plus, it'll not even matter much because rotting process starts to kick in.But honestly, I have no idea if my conclusion is any right or wrong. You should really ask a scientist/professor and not on BW. qez 1 “Do not take life too seriously.
