Not Really A Rant....more Like A Bleep

I met him when his life was upside down....and about to get worse.

I stuck with him through it all.

I met him when he didn't know what he wanted from life.

I let him know he could have anything he wanted from life.

I loved him with a ferocity.

I loved him with devotion.

I loved him with kindness.

I loved him when he left.

I loved him when he returned.

I loved him through lonliness.

I loved him when he ran.

I loved him enough to give him a place to rest till he could pick himself up.

I loved him when he hurt me.

I loved him while he explored the world.

I loved him while he loved another.

I loved him while he needed to use me to stay afloat when life got rough.

I let him go when he needed me to.

I love him enough to know that saying all of the above in a past tense doesn't sound true.

Do I regret any of it?

No.

Do I feel weaker because of it?

No.

Do I wish I could change any of it?

No.

Don't really understand why....

But I still smile....despite it all.

I guess it's the confirmation....

Of knowing I'm capable of the very kind of love...that I believe in.

And in a way, it reassures me...

If it's in me....It must be out there in others too.

So it exists.

And hopefully, with a little luck, one day I'll get to be on the receiving end of it too.

To those out there looking for the love of their lives...

Start the ball rolling by loving yourself the same way you would want to be loved by another.

Makes it easier for the one looking for you...

That's not love unless u are a parent then it's call unconditional love.

True love takes 2 hands to clap - blind love is just ......painful.......

At least a slave gets attention while serving his master.

Love in your own brain is like girls watching too much Korean serial and dream someday miracle will come.

Well.....for some it does come but 90% of them crash and burn and becos of this blind love they couldn't see who really love them and loses their real soul mate.
