Buying Bread Maker A Mistake

Blog

Recommended Posts

Brought on impulse and then realised that might have been a mistake.  True enough, I couldn't find wholemeal flour at Cold Storage.  Looking at the rest of what were available on the shelf, I was of the view that they looked old and could be close to expiry date(s).  They must be very slow to move off the shelf.

On top of that, the pricing of the various items, including nuts and raisins, were enough to put me off compared to buying speciality breads from the bakery.  The latter is much much cheaper!  Not forgetting that the cooking time on the bread maker could be like 3 hours.  Think of the electricity tariff!

I haven’t opened up the box yet.  Don't know whether to look for a buyer.

Anyone here with the experience of baking with the bread maker, please offer your insight.
