Guest D
My friends and I are planning to go for a high tea . Budget would be less than 100 . Think about scones , macaroons , different teas , nice pastries etc . But not sure which is recommended one , and Halal one too
Anderson
The Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts (the former Holiday Inn). The restaurant is a definitely halal cos you can often see some women(usually foreigners) with those muslim headdress eating there.
hha3838
Agree with Anderson's suggestion above- for halal high tea Carousel is your most likely choice.Very extensive selection of Asian and Western items but you have to book well in advance as the cafe is very popular ;-)

Jtan
Yep, Carousel is probably a good choice. Can also try Marketplace at Swissotel The Stamford and Merchant Court.
Anderson
Besides the Carousel @ Royal Plaza I mentioned earlier, the Straits Kitchen at the Hyatt across the road is also halal. The buffet here serves a wide range of local food - Chinese, Malay, Indian, Nyonya, etc.Actually both the Royal Plaza and The Hyatt and the restaurants mentioned are owned by the Sultan of Brunei and on weekends you can see many richer Bruneians staying or patronising the restaurants.
