She probably meant the Songkran i.e. Water festival celebrations in the streets. The bars and clubs are still open but no one parties openly in the street. White party was behind closed doors (at MM Live CentralWorld) and it went as planned. For GCircuit party, it's at the Grand Centara Convention Hall. The Thais & tourists are respectful of the mourning period but logically speaking, if everything shuts down, then their economy will tank as tourism is one of their economic pillars. Quote
