Another point, local gays who frequent clubs and bars here are quite unfriendly and pose around thinking they are so hot! My friend who works in Shanghai claims he saw more "turnover" of faces (local plus expats) give China is much bigger market (more population and more international HQs). Many Taxi driver will queue along this road waiting for customers, the queue can be quite long, so while waiting for customers, some driver will get out of the Taxi to smoke or chat with other taxi driver, so when you see someone that you like, you can go and chat with them, then you can tell them that you can have a good time with them and ask them to fetch you to the place you want to go after the fun, If they agree you can get into the Taxi and go with them, most of them are friendly and will chat with you when you are inside the Taxi, sometime i will ask them why they are queuing there as the queue can be quite long, they told me that they queue to wait for customer and also looking for fun at the same time, as this place is well known for free sex service, i will ask them that since they are married, why don't they go back to have sex with their wife instead, they will tell me that they won't want to wake the wife up at 2-3am to ask for sex, their wife is already very tired after doing house work and take care of the children, so when they have urge for sex at this timing, they will come here, it is one bird kill two stone.
