oralb Posted August 12, 2007 Report Share Posted August 12, 2007 got a internal Benq DW1620 DVD writer in the old PC, gotten a external casing and connected to my WinXP laptop via USB.problem is i cannot burn DVD but i can burn CD, try to download driver in the net but in vain.anyone has the driver? oralb Posted August 13, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 13, 2007 thanks ikui already have the latest firmware, just wanna get the PC driver for the drive.i had sent email to Benq support and they replied with the usual EOL no more support blah blah. but they did mention that DW1620 is meant to be internal drive so officially not supported as a external drive usage (via external casing connected thro USB)how true is that?
