No, not Sun Ho... but Wiltay.

Singaporean pop star, Wiltay, now based in Spain, won the prestigious best Pop album of the year 2014 at the Hollywood F.A.M.E Awards, also known as the Los Angeles Music Awards earlier in Nov.

The 25-year-old singer songwriter is the first Asian artiste to win the "Best Pop Album" category at the Hollywood F.A.ME award in 24 years. Past recipients includes will.i.am, Gwen Stefani, Paula Abdul, David Osborne and Jack Black.

Wiltay puts Asia's talent on an international level in Hollywood after Asian superstar Jay Chou debuted in his film The Green Hornet in Hollywood.

The Singaporean star who recently released his debut album, WTF (Wiltay Fantasy), with Warner Music Singapore was discovered in a park in Spain two years ago during a holiday trip while he was playing his guitar. He has since released three music videos filmed in Spain worldwide.

The award winner was also invited to present the Career Achievement Award to Latino action movie star Danny Trejo during the night of the award show, as they both share a common language – Spanish.

Wiltay's victory sees local talent once again being recognized internationally, following director Anthony Chen’s win at the Camera d’Or at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. - WARNER MUSIC SINGAPORE

Ha, my secondary school classmate. He was quite a cool joker guy in school, will always remember his pranks against the teachers. Nice guy though, glad he is achieving his dreams.

Thank you guest for sharing! Good to know a Singaporean is doing well internationally.

Interesting music and videos.

The dance moves in Hola reminds me of the Singapore workout in a humorous way. No offence to the choreographer.  ^_^

Love the simple guitar arrangement version for Nothing can stop us where his voice shines.

And oh, he is cute.  ^_^

I know right? He's one of those I liked to look as eye candy. But we were never close nor was I out back then.

Well, it's not that often that a Singaporean gets a Hollywood award. So I guess it's about recognizing that achievement rather than finding the flaws in a person's talent.

Handsome and fit ..

I Love staring at guys' bulges & ass cracks in their undies or nylon shorts or biz pants or jeans... Will start to fantasise I am caressing them with my hardon rite inside my undies... Do you ?

He's cute. Reminds me of the fella in Wangfu Productions.

The Hola video...Chueca...that's the gay district in Madrid.

Hmmm...it didn't show his decision at the end of the video whether he chose the girl or guy.

Yup...it's difficult to understand what he's singing, especially the chinese bit, maybe it's the autotune.

Er...Hola is quite catchy and he's cute when he danced.

After all, tomorrow is another day. ~ S O'Hara

Lucky you to see him up close. Haha. He has a very charming smile.

Agreed. But it is okay for him to have people who dislike him. It is a sign of popularity! ;)

I saw his interview and it seems he is not very comfortable with speaking in Mandarin. He said give him three years to brush up on his Mandarin. The Hola song is a mix of Spanish, English and Mandarin though.

1. Haha, yeah. I was lucky to know him though we ran in different social circles. He was always popular.

2. Oh, I suppose so. It is okay to have people who dislike. But could do so in a more democratic way I suppose. :)

3. He was never good in Mandarin really. If I remember correct, he went for syllabus B.
