Went to KSL onsen today. Arrived around 8.45 pm, and i seen there were many families are present. Ive counted, there were 4 children, who came with their father and one of them with a grandfather. I felt like a pedophile when i walk around naked (covered with small towel) there.

Some of the family member even wore swimsuits in the onsen.

 

So, there were no action during this time. There were few missed opportunities with some other gay guys there, but it just not possible.

Managed to had fun with a guy when everyone left, which is around 10 pm. 

 

Overall, I'm expecting this situation will continue till Sunday or Monday as its a long weekend. I might visit again during normal weekend instead.

Were the older men wearing swimsuits or was it the children doing so?  I ask because I wonder if the older men were teaching the children the onsen culture, but had the children clad because, perhaps, of fear of pedophilia. 

 

Did anyone in the onsen react to your nudity?  If they did not, it might be because they understood nudity is the norm in onsen, and that they were the ones deviating from the norm.

I prefer to enjoy my soak in the onsen in the nude as per onsen culture, which is why I try to go there at those times when I think the onsen would not be popular with parents bringing their children.

There were NO kids during this session, all adults, majority Chinese, a few Malays and 1 Caucasian bear (wear own shorts).

 

Roughly about 25% of the population wear either disposable underwear, or own shorts / swimming trunk, 75% wear birthday suits. 

 

I believe all PLUs were naked (if my gaydar is correct), plus 1 or 2 straights. Nobody give a damn about men being naked in the Onsen, and not properly covered by small towel. In fact I check with the attendant whether it's ok to NOT wear the disposable, and he reply "ini kan lebih selesa?" Thus it's perfectly OK to be nude currently, until they change the rules.

 

Majority of the population, about  65 - 70% were PLUs, and there are a few nice looking people. It's an interesting place to social and make small chats. Nothing indecent, minus a few "accidental" touches, after all there are straights around. We can also see some "semi-hard" around. 

 

At peak time, there were about 10+ people in the onsen. People moving from pool to pool. Thus today is a good day to visit the onsen.

You try going yourself and explore lah. Basically it's a random encounter.  Depending on your timing on weekends, thw crowd is a mixtureof older and younger guys.  More chances of meeting PLUs there but must be very discreet.  You set up a date and time and I will also go. Hahaha

Open shower is the norm for onsen, so yes, we do have them. 

 

As part and parcel of the onsen culture, a person bathes in the open shower before entering the warm water.  I suppose the concept of open shower is that everyone can verify the person has cleaned himself before entering the hot/warm water, thereby ensuring the onsen water is not dirtied.

After so much talk on this place, I am now really tempted to visit San Onsen in KSL Klang on Wednesday, 12th Jun, around 6.00 pm.  Any kids in there should have left with the adults for their dinner and it should be quite peaceful.

Oh I was there Saturday as well. But I go massage first and enter the onsen area around 730 plus. As you say, when I in, most wear disposable trousers only 2 are naked. As times go on around 9 plus, I think most guys are naked where the disposable is 1 or 2 only.
