Guest Guest
How many here will go SF now with this direct connection ? USA most ay populated city? Singapore Airlines to launch non-stop flights to San Francisco from Oct 23 Photo: Reuters Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced that it will commence non-stop flights to San Francisco and fly twice daily to Los Angeles (LA) from Oct 23. In a statement released on Thursday (June 16), SIA said that the Singapore-Seoul-San Francisco flight will be re-routed to operate as a Singapore-Seoul-Los Angeles service instead. This means a second daily service will complement the existing flights that operate via the Singapore-Tokyo Narita-Los Angeles route. The flights to San Francisco will be timed to depart from Singapore in the morning and arrive in San Francisco in the morning as well. Return flights from San Francisco will also depart in the morning, but arrive in Singapore in the early evening. To date, the 13,600km journey between Singapore and San Francisco is Singapore Airlines' furthest destination. However, come 2018, a new variant of the A350-900 plane will make way for longer flights between Singapore and both Los Angeles and New York. Senior Vice President of SIA's Marketing Planning, Ms Lee Wen Fen, said: "Our customers have been asking us to offer more US services and we are pleased to be able to do so." "With new non-stop San Francisco flights and the increase in frequency to Los Angeles, customers will have two flights to choose from each day." At the same time, SIA mentioned that they will be doing away with flights to Sao Paulo, Brazil via Barcelona as a result of sustained weak performance of the route. The airline added that flights between Singapore and Barcelona will still continue. Besides San Francisco and Los Angeles, SIA’s US network includes flights to Houston via Moscow and New York JFK via Frankfurt.

upshot
WOW.. direct flight all the way to San Fransisco to enjoy and partake the famous raunchy FOLSOM STREET GAY SCENE ** Comments are my opinions, same as yours. Guest EV AIR
I hope you all have a fat pocket and fat wallet filled with lotsa catch, the last time Singapore Airlines had an all business class A340-500 that flew all the way to New York from SIngapore and back, it was super expensive, and as in this video , the plane only filled 5 seats out of maybe 135 total, off course you will enjoy one to one intimate food service and tuck in bed turn down bed service, but SIA was bleeding money like hell. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwLbxUCXKE0 I do hope it is 3 class layout with a Premium Economy section between Business class and Economy class, In fact I dont mind flying EVA air , stopping in Taipei and then contiunuing to the US on their Premium Economy Seats, the price is lower, seats are super comfy, food is so so, but atleast they have Chinese style food options. EVA air premium economy to the US via Taiwan , Taipei, is hard to beat for SIA in terms of price and value for money.
