Guest Transient Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 I think the mirrors in my gym locker room is very deceptive lor. After working out, even my abs become more defined, not to mention being more pumped all round. But by the time I finish my protein shake, everything has subsided. How to prolong that look? Quote
marysenter Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I recommend 2 ways to prolong the result you are looking for. We all know that protein remains muscle and help workout period more effective. Sardines are a good take-along protein source. Just peel the top off the metal can and munch on them after a workout. Sardines are also loaded with healthy omega-3 fats that help to reduce inflammation. That’s a good thing if you’re worried about after-exercise soreness. Enjoy them with whole grain crackers and mustard or toss them on onto a salad or into your next batch of homemade spaghetti sauce. They’re a good break from canned tuna. Sardines can be easily found in high-quality extra-virgin olive oil. More important is their function in making leucine, an amino acid, more effective in its role as the catalyst for protein synthesis. Some research also suggests that omega-3 fats can actually help older people overcome agerelated deficits in anabolism, making omega-3s especially important for older lifters. Try wild caught salmon with a handful of almonds, Carpaccio made from grass-fed beef paired with avocado, or 2-3 sardines with a small portion of caviar. You can see more information in this post https://wikihomenutrition.com/sardines-health-benefits/ it provides more than function for workout. Besides, beef is the thing you are looking for. beef's nutritional virtues extend well beyond protein. Beneficial minerals in beef include the antioxidant selenium, highly absorbable iron and immune-boosting zinc, with the most well-represented vitamins being thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, B6 and B12. beef can give your body some of the creatine it needs to push some serious weight. https://und.edu/student-life/dining/_files/docs/fact-sheets/protein.pdf you can see more in this link to have more creations for protein. That's called transient hypertrophy. Essentially the muscles will lose that pump after a while. The only way to make it last is to do regular training and muscle hypertrophy will take place. As for the abs being more defined and after the protein shake it subsided, I presume its due to the water in your stomach. Anyway these acute changes don't really matter much. What matters most is what you do throughout the process. Just work out regularly and you will be fine. Quote Follow me at http://instagram.com/ytraymond =)
