Guest Yuffy21 Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 My cup fell and broke. It is my favorite cup. How to fix it?
Guest guest reply Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Its not a good idea to keep broken cups & glasses at home. It brings bad luck to the owner. Please dispose it as soon as you can. Wish you good luck. honhon 1
Guest Gast Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 When fixed, broken cups and plates still contain hairline fractures which can harbour bacteria - definitely a no no for a eating utensil. Anyway, new year, out with the old and in with the new - great excuse to get yourself a new favorite cup!

Than glue it on a frame and make it like an art. As you cannot use the cup anymore but cant bare to throw it away for reasons.. give it new life by changing its purpose. iamziz 1
fab Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Certain things, once broken can't be fixed. Egs r cups n hearts. 鍾意就好,理佢男定女 never argue with the guests. let them bark all they want. 结缘不结怨 解怨不解缘 After I have said what I wanna say, I don't care what you say. 看穿不说穿
upshot Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 But a new CUP. To use glue as a means to repair it is fine... if you STOP using it to drink. What chemical reaction overtime will take place when the glue substance deteriorate and infused into the water or beverage you drink. What harm that does over time, you want to take that kind of risk? Also hot water and washing overtime will weaken the bond that hold the crack together. Want to be sentimental over the cup? fine. Display it and not use it to drink. ** Comments are my opinions, same as yours. It's not a 'Be-All-and-End-All' view. Intent's to thought-provoke, validate, reiterate and yes, even correct. Guest Neh Neh Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Try to mend the broken cup with acidic glue that car accessories shops use to glue headlights and metal things. It is extreme hard after dry. But stop using the cup for drinking.
Guest Boss Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Epoxy is the best adhesive to fix it. Try lah
Guest guest Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 don't be silly. broken cups and plates are bad feng shui. I don't even use or keep chipped cup or bowl. like some said. hairlines cracks can promote bacteria growth. using glue or epoxy to fixed then use it to drink or eat is bad idea. let it go. anyway you got to try to learn not to be too attached to any material items. good luck with your new cup!
Guest Guest Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 What if The person doesn't believe in Feng shui? anyway, evertytime there is a broken cups, plates etc., I just put epoxy on that and everthing works well

I always buy things that I really like in an pair exactly the same design, color which I enjoy using. In that way, if I lose one I can always have a back up. Of course, I buys only for less expensive items that I can afford to buy in twos such as cups, shirts, jeans. Funny thing, my mom always asks me if I am going to marry two girls.

Zackling Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 if the TS is stating the cup as a metaphor .. I'll just simply put it.. whether it is a mirror / glass up, no matter how you mend, it will never be the same anymore. Let go & move on.
