I m sure this way will not work, but you end up having lost your virginity and thrown away without the promise of getting a job materialising. I simply recommend to you to send your application out of any job advertisement and have a follow up call with the HR managers. I m sure the big four want excellent marks and extracurricular activities of a heavier nature. Actually, there are many who quit the Big Four audit firms after some years. because they are worn out, tired and missed their life. I even have friends who took 3 years sabbaticals after working 10 years with the Big Four because they lost touch to reality, ended up going home at 10pm for years and even worked during weekends. If you want to become audit partner, it is probably faster through a medium sized firm below the Big Four category. There might be some glamour, but in my personal view. the lacquer is torn off quite fast once you know how these firms work... I actually always run a joke with a friend who is in the audit line when we meet at a famous rooftop bar at Raffles at 11pm pointing to the offices of some of the Big Four: The guys with the Big four just having started their afternoon shift, while we sip on a drink with the splendid view on Singapore....
