However, was told (by my companion that things do happen in the public gardens at night! - but you'd need to drive as I don't think I even spotted a single taxi all the three days I was there. Food-wise besides Sarawak kolo me and Kuching laksa, I found their stiry-fry zhi-char at various coffee shops rather delicious and not ex at all. There's also good kopi peng (comes in 3 diff stripes of colours) and curious veg like wild bracken called midin. Midin made my food adventure! Quote
