oralb Posted February 7, 2008 Report Share Posted February 7, 2008 recently i had this problem.whenever i restart my comp, i can log into IRC and access #blowingwind easily.but i got disconnected, i cannot log back in, here's the error messages:--------------------------------------------* Connecting to irc.maxonline.com.sg (6663)--irc.maxonline.com.sg- *** Looking up your hostname--irc.maxonline.com.sg- *** Checking for ident server--irc.maxonline.com.sg- *** No identification response--irc.maxonline.com.sg- *** Found your hostname-flood drones.-Closing Link: OB[2xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] by singapore.sg.galaxynet.org (K-lined)-* Disconnected-------------------------------------------i have tried different server, from random galaxynet to pacificnet, same resultsI have tried virus and spyware check and came out nothing.I am using mIRC v6 and had tried using Opera as the Chat agent, all came with "Flood Drones"anyone has idea what's "Flood Drones" and how to solve this?tks Quote When I Think It, I Do It, I Win It! It seems that the server detected your ip as a threat and k-lined you. oralb Posted February 8, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 8, 2008 try that as well, no results.i am able to connect to other non-galaxynet chat room though.so after troubleshooting and elimination, i suspect that my line could be the issue (like what iku has said)i had also uninstall and install the v6.21 mIRC, same result. I don't think nickname and full name will make any difference. If this still cannot work and it is still the same problem, then the only explanation is that your IP address have been "black-listed" by galaxynet.Cheers !
