Hugomaster Posted April 16 Posted April 16 i am planning to join Shangri La KL gym membership, cause the jacuzzi looks nice, and the fee is quite reasonable. May i know anyone here has the membership? Please do share with everyone if its worth it, and let us know of the "happening" days and time. Thanks so much bro! Quote

Hugomaster Posted April 20 Posted April 20 (edited) Just a bit of sharing after my first visit to Shangri la Kl gym. I paid for a day pass just to try first, price is RM165. Now i am convinced to sign up for their annual membership, which is around RM300 per month. I am already a CF member, shangri la gym is about RM100+ more expensive, but what they offer is at least 3x better. Pros: Gym: good number of machines, has everything i need, i am not a heavy user. Towels: take as many as you want, both gym towel and bath towel Locker and shower: good condition, spacious cubicle, good shower gel, shampoo, lotion, etc. Sauna and Steambath: spacious and clean, not too hot, just right. Jacuzzi: my favorites. They have a big hot pool and a smaller cold pool, with resting chairs nearby for you to rest and watch birds. Resting area: They have 2 resting beds outside the sauna area, you can watch tv or get some rest. Quiet and smells good. Cons: Parking fee: quite expensive, i paid RM18 for 4 hours of parking during weekend. But the staff told me there are other very nearby options which charging flat rate RM5 - RM6. I need to find out. Not too happening: Not a place for wild fun, definitely not like hilton. But if you are looking for a place to work out and relax in sauna, steam, jacuzzi, maybe 2 to 3 naughty encounters as bonus, this is the perfect place for you. More matured crowd with above average status. I met some good looking well built foreigners too. I highly recommend this place, will definitely sign up their annual membership in my next visit. It is just opposite the Shangrila Hotel. Can park at Menara Hap Seng and walk over. Hugomaster 1 Quote

Jalan Stesen Sentral is a stone’s throw away from KL Sentral - Malaysia’s largest transit hub. Local news outlet The Star identified the premises as a five-star hotel. Sounds like Hilton or Le Meridien... Quote
