A... Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Y'all have any advices for beginners like me to build up muscles on both arms and chest at a gym and home. Not necessary need a 6 packs, though. I'm sort of skinny average. Quote
BudakFit Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 First eat more or eat anything. Sleep well. Cut down fun sex as testesterone is involved. Then do more weight training and less cardio. And consume weight gainer or whey after workout no need to cut anything for now. Do it 3-6 months so see difference. Quote
anxiousfriedtofu Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 Though its been 6 years but still wanna share what worked for me so others can benefit too. For your chest, don't over emphasize heavy benching or pressing, Maybe try unilateral (one-sided) chest flys and focus on feeling the muscles contract. Also, dips is not to be neglected too for a functional chest. As for arms, try to give more emphasis on triceps to increase overall thickness. I made the mistake of doing arms on respective push/pull days. I noticed faster growth when I had a dedicated arm day. Good that you don't really wish for a 6-pack, because skinny guys like us need to eat a lot. I'd say eat even more hard than you do training. potatochirp 1 Quote

del_ta Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 Not going to lie. What worked for me was going to train in Thailand for about 4 weeks each 4 times a year. I am lucky to run my own business so I can make the time. I am also motivated after my divorce to make up for my deficiencies. Quote

del_ta Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 If your idea of training is push ups, then you are not thinking big enough. Google about gym training in Thailand and the amazing results you can get. Quote
