Whats the most hip/newest/coolest/latest thing... and Whats Not?

thought of starting this thread for us to discuss whats the most hip/newest/coolest/latest thing... and whats not. 

could be fashion, food, lifestyle, technology, events, etc!! 

 

i will start of with a fashion style that ive been following lately. 

i have always liked the minimalist look, which some people would relate to the Japanese's clean look, or the Taiwanese's 文青 look. 

the main features of this look can include: 

1) plain and single coloured t-shirts / shirts, usually monochrome colours 

2) slightly baggy pants / chinos / jogger pants 

3) pure white / black / slightly coloured shoes 

4) a pair of round spectacles, with a short and neat hairstyle or a simple cap

 

 

yay or nay? what do you guys think?

Pants shouldnt be so baggy. Looks improportionate .

it is not too gd to imitate everyone on the streets and there is no individualistic but all conforming to one standard

 

in the Land of fashion of asia ie Japan , how will fashionista pick? a baggy trousers , they r not on the shelves for fun

Chinos - when u can only have a pair! he will teach  u how to fold it to look slimmer if  u have been following

i personally find this combination quite nice! but more for the daring and loud ones

This is more on cutting perspective. I prefer to wear coloured mixed media stuff. Matching the colour is more skillfull than wearing on cutting purpose, unless belong to lion dance group. However, colours conbination must not be too tacky. Some may pull it off like nonya kueh salat. Enjoy!
