grumpybaker Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 I don't suppose you can find any place offering courses on it.The easiest way is to look for friends that speak the dialects you want to learn and ask them to teach you.Just curious, what dialects are you referring to? like wind Posted March 24, 2008 Author Posted March 24, 2008 I also don't understand what the aunt said... that is why I wish to learn more...feel like kite, flying in the wind

Guest Fatboy Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I've been here in Singapore for quite sometime when my company relocated me here. My problem is when locals speak with their language and I don't understand. Where can I learn Singlish?

smallboy Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 (edited) If you need help with Cantonese and some hokkien, I would be willing to help. Albeit My pronunciation is not very accurate, so as we go along I can also practice my speaking. if it is Cantonese, I can type it here and tell you how to say it in Cantonese oh and I realize this was a 2008 post bumped up by some guest. I started learning Cantonese in 2008, so if OP was really into learning that particular dialect, he would have already been an advance speaker. Edited February 29, 2016 by smallboy I am a 24 years old guy, just wanting to know more friends..
Guest Neh Neh Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Can seek help from your dialect association like Teo Chew association, Hakka association or Hokkian Association.
