i think it's becoming less common for boys to be shirtless at home especially because most homes have air con. i don't really ever remember wearing a shirt at home when i was a kid. same with my father and brothers as well. being shirtless at home was something that progressed into adulthood as well. even now i never wear a shirt at home. always just in a pair of boxers. only when i go running in the morning i will change into some running shorts. i think it's the norm with most of the older guys.

well, for me it is a habit that it's too late to change now. Ive already reached my 30s. i think it would be funny if i suddenly wear a tshirt at home. there are times i've even gone to the minimart and other stores about 5 minutes walk from my home in just my shorts. it's not about having an adonis type body but more about preference. and besides Singapore's weather is way too hot to wear a shirt at home unless you switch on air con which i rarely do.

Had a similar experience yesterday when I was jogging in the park in the early afternoon yesterday. Saw a father and son walking. Father was a bit plump son probably 5 years old. Also a bit plump. I was jogging shirtless and the boy  told his father "eee this uncle never wear clothes." the father also agreed and laugh with him. I just shake my head as I jogged off.

i don't know if more people wear shirt at home but it's the opposite with my brothers, father and I. I have friends who are also shirtless at home. With the recent hot weather i find it extremely uncomfortable when I'm outside wearing a shirt. it's a good thing I work from home most of the time. it's strictly just underwear for me for my office attire. Lol.

when i was a kid, i used to see guys being topless in public all the time. it's not like they had ripped model bodies but it was just the normal thing to do. i've even see some guys who would go to the shops topless or even eat at hawker center topless. but it's all changed in the last two decades. we've become more modern and the topless male body is not classy unless its muscular and ripped and shown in movies and television.
