chubaholic
What you guys think of Ignatius Low's Sunday column? I find it a tad egocentric and boastful (always dropping hints on how HC he is). But take my hat off to him for officially outing himself - there was mention of his "partner" and becoming "characters in Lee Ang's movies". 我有煙但係邊個有火。。。

bokeh
I have always enjoyed reading his column. He is like the male equivalent of Sumiko Tan and I suspect he was a PLU long long time ago. He looks like a cute cub from the frontal shot Wat he said about OCBC has a lot of truth. Having used phonebanking service from ocbc, dbs and uob, I still prefer ocbc's way of structuring the menu. I notice uob has been improving a lot recently as well.
undercurrent
Haha! Pardon me but I guess some of you may have been referring to his other article published on the same day. 2 On the article chubaholic was referring to, frankly speaking, it didn't come across as boastful or anything like that. While his background can be said to be privileged, intelligence is no crime and neither is being able to write well. In fact, I think both traits are highly desirable, especially if put to good use. If he had intended to show himself to be 'HC', paying that much attention to what he said could suggest that one had played into his hand? 3 In any case, I prefer to learn to be happy for other people. He's leading an enriching and happy life with his partner, and I think the latter has a sound personality to boot. Just my five cents' worth. boyvin
Ya, some of you refer to the wrong article mentioned earlier. It's part of LifeStyle, in the Reflect column, not OCBC one. I also read with curiosity, and just login to check with this forum, and found out that other has already posted. Here are some statements in the article:1. My own life is a case in point. I'm single but lucky enough to be in love .. 2. Right about the same time, I was re-thinking a four-year relationship with my girlfriend which was inching slowly but surely into marriage. I liked her but I also could not shake off the feeling that a conventional marriage was not, and could not be, for me.3. But I knew in my heart that my marriage would only have the veneer of the picture-perfect, and I would be frustrated and lonely as the characters leading double live in Lee Ang Movies?Ang Lee Movies? Hulk has double personality too, but i don't think it's relevant. Lust, Caution? No double personality there. Couching Tiger and Hidden Dragon?? Hmm, not even remember the story.. thorzguy
I would probably pay for anything max, about $40-50? My most expensive underwear thus far has been CK.Before I lay my hands on my very first pair, many many years back, I kept wondering "what so special paying so much for a pair of underwear??"... But once I tried, there's no turning back. The fitting, material and feeling are different from the other brands I used to wear. Of course, I am open to others like 2xist as well.To each its own. My partner, simply doesn't care much about his underwear, until I have to suggest to him to change...(no, not because of brand , but because the elasticity has worn off!!)p/s: Sunday column is usually good. Guest junkies
Ignatious Low is super hot and definitely gay if u follow his column. briax
You guys think it's worth paying $60-$80 for a pair of underwear? Or rather how much.max wld u pay for one?I will pay up to $70.00. Any thing more is a little excessive for me. But a good pair of underwear is not only comfortable but also long lasting. I used to wear unico which lasted really long but its quality has dropped. GMW is a good investment. Nothing spoils the mood in sex moment more than a tattered pair of underwear Facebook.com/Bryan Choong
thorzguy
ha ha i agreed! really no turning back......wouldnt that be a turn off , if your partner didnt "dress" properly?Hahaa... he's usually in his boxer shorts, nothing underneath when he's at home... so it's only that when i was keeping his laundry that I almost fainted from the "elasticity capabilities" on his underwear.. Lol. I have since dumped all those pairs and replaced it with something much nicer or at least, proper!! As for me, I cannot tolerate anything ill fitting underwear. Just to share: Many years back, I bought this 3-in-1 BUM, sport briefs pack. Somehow, the elasticity at the butt there, always seems "loose". Imagine my horror when I realised, after some movement, the briefs actually can become thongs! (the back part of went up and like go in between your butt!) oralb
I think the first thing many guys should do is to stop letting your mother or your wife buy your underwear. Coz the ladies idea of buying guys underwear is those 3 or 4 or 5 in a box in the discount section. They just dont see why should spend so much on their son/ husband inner underwear.Other than branding a more expensive pair of underwear could have better cutting, better quality, and different materials. Esp to men that are, ahem, more endowed, they should pick those with pouch design so as not to feel "packed" when getting those basic underwears Tony Tan 1 When I Think It, I Do It, I Win It! outernet
And I really hate it when those sales auntie would come & ask me if I need help when I am browsing at the underwear section. I know they're just doing their job but com'on, why must be the guys underwear section be manned by ladies? Make me feel so uneasy being served by women when purchasing underwear. Always need to shoo them off. 秀你悲伤的爱
lovehandle
i second that,outernet....the women always thought they have "seen enough" men's....and they are the best "service" partners in the underwears dept..........If u dont have that, u just cant do a good job
thorzguy
Oh... women manning the men's underwear section... Yes yes... i dislike that too, although can't be helped. Thus far, the last 2 encounters I had in Robinson Raffles City and Isetan Scotts was rather good. The lady manning the CK side was even offering me colors, varieties, materials etc..They can, actually make a customer feels at ease (at least, I do not feel "stress")...But lately, I have learnt to take things in stride and be cool about it, unless one is choosing a thong, leopard print g-string... then it maybe a different story... oralb
i would believe the sales ladies are more paisay on peddling men's underwear than you buying. It is just their job. So relax the stores owners may think it will be more weird to have male promoters on the undergarments section. When I Think It, I Do It, I Win It! outernet
Most men underwear section are manned by ladies but last time before causeway point Metro dept store was renovated the underwear section was manned by a guy who was quite good. Last month I was at this CCK BHG dept store underwear section & this women is following so closely & standing SO close to me while I was looking at the underwear. I got so pissed off I had to walk off. Actually is it really necessary to have sales assistants at underwear section?? I mean, I can help myself with the colors & sizes. I don't need suggestions or size measurement right? On top of that, I also dislike ladies 'kpo' at ubderwear section. See see touch touch stretch stretch and then throw back onto the shelves. Com'on, when ladies browse men's underwear they say it's for their husband. When men browse women's bra they say the men are perverted...
