Entrance Outside the sauna, you will see the name Cruise on the opaque glass door. Staff in red Ts behind the service counter will help you with registration and payment. A rather long queue was formed as it took time for customers to fill in a form as well as pay for the entrance. The form asked for the standard data; name, DOB, mobile and email. After registering, you enter the door from the left into the sauna. Ground floor Entering the sauna, and just behind the counter entrance, there is a curtain and behind the curtain, sits a tanning bed. A note on the wall informs customers interested in tanning, to look for staff for help as well as the cost of the tanning service. Tanning is at $20 for 20 minutes. Further in, will be a little gym corner with a multi function weight training machine, a jogging machine and some free weights facing a large mirror. A seat which can be inclined faces the mirror. A flight of stairs facing the gym leads to the 2nd and 3rd floor and as you walk further in, you will see rolls after rolls of red metal lockers, The lockers are comes in various sizes some small, some large. There were about 300 lockers. After passing the rolls of lockers, you will pass through the doorway and the steam room will be on your right. In the steam room, there are 5 sets of seats facing each other and the steam room have enough room to fill about 20+ people. The steam room is pretty dark, some light do pass through the opaque glass door. Immediately after the steam room, you will see people in the shower showering through the half covered glass window. Yes, it can be a sight to behold. Yummy! The jacuzzi which seats about 7 pax will be on the right, right under the stair landing which leads to the second floor. Those using the jacuzzi need to take note of the height of the beam when standing up in the Jacuzzi. The shower room with its half covered glass panel has 6 rain shower type shower. Next to the shower will be 2 sinks, under a mirror with toiletries like cotton buds, mouth wash, lotion and hair gel between the sinks. Two toilet stalls are located near the end of the building next to the locked back door. The big backyard with high air well opens up from the ground floor to the 3rd floor. A huge canvas covers the entire backyard at the top of the building. As it was raining earlier, the canvas was closed. The backyard area is the location of the smoking corner. The staircase nearby leads up to the 2nd and 3rd floor. Second Floor There are two entrance leading up to the 2nd floor where the rooms are. The entrance via the front is open all the time while the entrance via the backyard will be closed during skin nite. There are about 17 rooms from big to small on the 2nd floor forming a maze, Some rooms with single mattress bed, some with big square mattress, some are just small spaces. All mattresses are on raised platform. Interestingly there is a part of the maze which is really interesting. There is a little room just behind a curtain. Inside the room you will see a raise platform. The raised platform is accessible from both sides of the curtained room via some steps from the sides. The raised platform is a narrow walkway that runs around the room. Those standing in the curtained room can do almost anything to those who walked along the raised platform. It’s like a big glory hole for some hot action. At the back end of the second floor, there is little walkway leading to a shower area and toilet stall. The walkway also overlooks the backyard and a stairway that leads to the third floor. Third Floor The Café are only accessible via the backyard stairway. It serves food and hot and cold beverages, etc. You can redeem a drink with the receipt issued and gets a chop from the staff on the receipt. Your locker number is required for the food you ordered and you pay when you leave the sauna. Currently, no alcohol beverages are served. A large flat panel TV shows movies while I was there. Sound system from the TV were loud enough to be heard. There is also a single, touch screen computer for internet access and a few steps away, the toilet and shower rooms. Accessing the third floor from the entrance staircase, will lead you to a big dimly lit room. It is only opens during special event. It is room for mass fun. A locked doorway links the big room to the café. Area for improvement As the staffs are rather new, they took a tad longer to get the registration done for the customers, which is why queue are formed and the waiting time can takes about 3 - 4 minutes per customer before one gets to enter the sauna. A queue also formed if the customer before you decides to buy a 4 day pass. Because the staff needs about 3 - 4 minutes for him key in the data and print out the sticker for the member card. The hanger for the shower is little too small to hang six towels. During my visit, the steam room and jacuzzi failed but was promptly rectified by the staff. The locker size is ok for some but will be too small for those with big bags or tourist with big luggage. The gym is comparable with the gym of Keybox but is no way near the well equipped One Seven sauna. The free weights are a good but a little too light for some. The announcements were really loud coming out of the speakers especially when it comes out all of a sudden. The toiletries and cotton butts between the sink gets wet when the water from the sink splashes onto them. Those toiletries should be placed on a raised platform higher than the sink. Some toilets have hoses while others don't Personal view The crowds on Friday night were awesome, maybe because Cruise was giving free entry to new members (except the $10 for the membership). It reminds me of the crowds from the now defunct Towel club. From the pricing listed on their Facebook site, I believe it is targeting at those customers of Abs, 17 and Keybox. Its certainly is on par in its overall design and feel of the sauna as well as the cleanliness and service standard with the other saunas, if not better. With a new sauna in the already competitive PLU sauna market in Singapore, I believe we will see a thinning of customers from those older saunas who did nothing to upgrade their services or facilities as customer are spoil for choice where they are going to spent their pink dollars. Then again, I think each sauna has their customers and supporters that they targets and we shall see, how things will turn out over time.

It's just a warm fuzzy feeling when you know that some gay people you don't know are enjoying time with their other halves now. Plus a bit of jealousy.
