The incident surrounding Seng Han Thong and Cherian George's affirmative blog on "There is Enough Real Racism in Singapore" shows that there are racial biasedness for and against certain races. I believe the same holds for the gay community. Some shirk the issue off by saying it's personal preferences, but often these prejudices of making friends or finding a partner stem from social and peer pressure. Why does race matter when you are having sex or dating someone: Malay, Chinese, Indian or White? Let's go make some gay friends of a different race this holiday season!

What to do for a single man this christmas? Stay single! Whoever said that christmas cant be spent alone should just go and ..... jump into a well. Theres nothing wrong with strolling around town on christmas alone or curling up in bed all day ordering McDonalds breakfast and pizza for lunch/dinner or watching FRIENDS (the series) and russell peters on christmas alone and theres really nothing wrong with staring at a white wall for ten hours (okay thats a bit retarded). Point is, be happy and grateful for the little things you have in life. Forgive enemies, forget grudges afterall isnt that what christmas is all about. Brooding over being alone only ruins the mood... So cheers, have an awesome time:)

I had three wonderful relationships for several years. Those times were fruitful and rich, they would make me smile whenever I recalled them After my last rs, I didn't seek and yearn for another one, I became a happy swinging single who enjoyed both my personal time and wirh guys whom I fancied. I was swinging like a pendulum till someone came into my life again. With a high swinging lifestyle, it was difficult for me to slow down immediately and go back to be a faithfully discipline someone. It was a tough period for him to accept and myself to adjust. There were several rows of arguments and disagreements, testing his patience and determination to hold on with me. After several months, I started to see his truth and sincereity to stay with my nonsense. I hv also slowed down slowly to appreciate his cares and concerns. He has proven his love and I started to regain myself to commit. We are now a couple and I must thanks him to be so patient to get back from my swinging singlehood

Hmm i had a bf and dates before but i feel that you cannot rush into a relationship just because you are desperate to have a bf. This will only hurt you and him eventually. Scanning the posts plus my own years as unwilling counselor, there appear to be a few common sentiments: - so many cute guys / crushes but they don't want me (so I'll retire to the cold palace and embroider shoes for him until he comes to his senses ... un bel di veldremo...) - I can't mingle with these fags because I don't subscribe to their immoral ways which are anathema to the closet of my world (but can I suck you please) - they all just want sex (and I don't, I want a pure chaste holy brotherhood like .. Frodo & Sam) - I'm not lucky (that's what Kylie said but still she revived her career; salted fish do come back to life) - I'm waiting for the Right One (he'll have a halo and a celestial super trouper will shine a spotlight on him) Plus there's always this notion that someday after my prince has come (on me), that we'll live happily ever after. I blame the poison of Hollywood while my best friend swears that the worst thing he ever read growing up was 神鵰俠侶 because it so distorted his perceptions about what a relationship was about. I know I sound cynical and it'll fall on deaf ears but I just so needed to get it off my chest. Now I can die in peace although I haven't done identical twins at the same time yet.
