  1. Aww man, living with regret like that has to be painful, especially when you're thinking about whether the person you love the most could have possibly reciprocated your love and chosen to be with you. I feel your pain. Hugs.
  2. Wow I didn't realize there were all these new comments on my thread and i didnt get any notifications! I feel your pain as I do have a straight friend who I have fallen for...been a few years now...I longed to do everything with him and even deluded myself that he could be gay but just not come out yet but I have now come to terms that he is straight and we will never spend our lives together. Reading your story does touch my heart strings as I have fantasized about us being able to do so much together like you and your friend have done. That said, I do think you've been really lucky to have a straight friend who accepts you and is willing to share so much of his life with you to even consider living together, even when he knows about your feelings towards him. I guess the consolation you can find in your situation is that your friend probably loves you as much as you love him, even though he can't spend the rest of his life with you and grow old together, and that married or not, you will have a special place in his heart that his wife can't fill. I hope so.
  3. This looks good (and hot)! Hope it will be up soon, and that it will be a success. Sounds like all the people involved put in a lot of hard work and it would be a real shame for this film to not take off~
  4. Haha thanks for all the opinions and sharing guys...It's really good to see how matured and responsible everyone's thinking is. I also say its better to be unhappy/lonely alone than to live a lie and ruin two lives instead of just one...why do gay guys still even marry though? To conform and out of peer pressure from family?
  5. Haha thank you! Passed the HDD over to my friend see if he can help...if not i guess have to let go of the data...
  6. Hi guys, starting this thread out of curiosity. Is there anyone here who only realized you were gay when you were in your 30s or after you got married? What was your experience like, coming out at such a stage in your life and how did you deal with it? Was it very confusing, or was did it feel liberating? How did your life change then since you would probably have been settled down by then?? Just asking this because I have heard some stories of people realizing they were gay and cheating on their spouses, and I was curious as to why people would only come to terms with their sexuality so late, etc. Feel free to discuss!
  7. Hi sorry for the late reply. To answer your question, I've tried several programs to try and find the data on the partition and to restore it such as EaseUS Data Recovery, MiniTool Partition Wizard and so on. None have been able to recover my data or restore the partition, sadly.
  8. I think its a single partitioned HDD
  9. I pretty much came to the same conclusion, but the data recovery professionals quoted my 1k - 2k for the data recovery. Not worth it :/
  10. Hi guys, my computer's hard drive (the D drive) recently got corrupted and my computer can no longer read it, even though it can still detect it in BIOS and diskcheck. I think the drive died because of too many bad sectors on the disk I've tried several methods to recover the data on the drive and to restore the drive but none have worked. So I'm currently looking for a professional/technician who is able to help me recover the data on the drive if possible and to restore the damaged partition for a reasonable price. Any help/lobang would be greatly appreciated!
  11. Very well written and quite possibly the best thing I've read on these forums since I've joined (which admittedly is not long, haha). Your reflections are very heartfelt and sincere, and the way you weave your words is beautiful! I find your courage to post, and share, your reflections and bare your soul on a public domain very commendable and brave and I guess it's a definite sign of how much you've grown spiritually and mentally as you struggled with growing up gay and meeting potential partners/friends of the same sexual orientation. What I like most about your pieces is how you've managed to conveya sense of child-like innocence and idealism amidst your very matured confession. How you've learnt so much from your time on Grindr and with Derek (sorry to hear that it didn't go well, but like you said, the two of you were just different and that sums it all up), and yet you've still managed to retain your outlook towards monogamous relationships and your desire to be happy. For me, that's the sweetest and most poignant element of your writing. I will be eagerly waiting to read your next chapter!
  12. Does he know that you found the pictures? Sounds like the two of you are still behaving like a normal, happy couple. If and when you decide to bring up this matter with your bf, just try to be honest with him. Tell him how you've been feeling, but keep in mind not to blame or get angry because you won't be able to communicate effectively and might end up saying things you don't mean. I can't begin to imagine the pain of the betrayal by a partner you've had for a decade. But you know, don't put aside the years of memories you've shared. Cherish the memories because they happened, and hold on to them. Just because he cheated on you doesn't nullify the happy memories you shared. People might change, but the times you shared and feelings you felt won't change. Be glad that you had 10 years with someone special who you were totally comfortable with. Use these happy memories to anchor you if you decide to talk to him about the pictures. Wish you all the best OP, and do come to us if you need to talk or get things off your chest.
  13. I don't really have much experience with an electric razor but generally manual shavers are more precise at removing hair though you may feel itchier after you shave as compared to an electric razor. But personally, I would recommend using hair removal cream for your armpits. No pain, no hassle. Just apply the cream, wait 10 mins, then scrape the hair off and wash with water, and you're done. Leaves the area smooth after the hair is gone too. (It's what the ladies use...)
