Yesssss, love these AI videos. I enjoy watching the full movie that's usually 1 hr+ duration. Most importantly, movie must be complete. I can't bear to wait for the next episode for those short / partial videos a few days later. I love the sweet endings of such movies too.

i didnt complete them cos some has too many episodes (though short durations) , some looked too AI 
and all the males looked the same 

the News said now elderly (ie Gen Y and older )  are all hooked into AI, erm ... hope i didnt expose some age grp

I get what you mean! The repetitive faces and hyper-realistic "AI look" can definitely be a bit distracting after a while.

 

That said, I’ve actually come to appreciate AI movies for what they offer. AI can generate intricate scenic shots and imaginative scenarios that would be nearly impossible—or insanely expensive—to shoot with real actors. Plus, full production takes a fraction of the time since there’s no need for crew logistics or physical setups.

Surprisingly, I’ve even noticed some of the emotional expressions and subtle gestures feel remarkably fine and delicate. Sure, you still spot those weird glitches—like someone opening a door to the outside from the outside, placing hot food directly on a sofa, or an extra hand floating around—but honestly, for me, those little quirks are pretty easy to look past.

 

A lot of these AI-generated storylines and genres turn out to be really sweet, cozy, and comforting. Considering they're made at a fraction of a traditional production budget, they’re just good enough for a relaxing late-night watch on the couch before turning in!

for me i gave highest respect to real movie makers and actors

Some actors admit that Ai will replace soon , but they will not support all Ai Shows for now , till the day it comes fully
they are not gonna let themselves be replaced that soon

i have to respect them because i m into real

I do enjoy watching real actors drama and movies as well, just that recently youtube has been feeding me more AI movies due to certain search algorithms hahaha. I love Thai and Chinese BL drama, some of the nice ones i have watched include

I do agree that AI BL dramas were 'actively' coming into my feeds too, haha.

 

Based on your Chinese list, I've watched all of them - other than the last one was from China, the rest were from Taiwan. Frankly, had watched a few from China along the way, but I found them not as good as good as those produced from Taiwan - where the actors were very into their roles with onscreen intimacies (especially when they kissed), haha.

 

Recently, Hong Kong also made a few, but of the 2 that I watched (actually one I have not finished), involved Police and gangs lah, and when Police character(s) was involved, there would be 'undercover duties', very typical of those TVB main stream dramas, which I grew tired of already, haha.

 

I would like to recommend these two shows from Taiwan if you have not watched them and if you have the time (and find them appealing enough to watch them), haha:

I didn't watch any your Thai list (haven't watch for a long while already), as watching any Thai BL dramas would mean I need to be 'glued to the screen' to read its subtitles, since I don't understand the language eh (hence cannot multitask). Not sure if you had watched, but of those very few that I watched, I would recommend you these two, which I believe were very well received in the region back then:

Yes, I've watched both seasons of "Boyscation" and there was a thread on this too (here), too bad the producer, Vinci Wong (also an actor/host) has declared bankruptcy, so likely no more "Boyscation"?

 

If you like such gay reality shows, you should watch Japanese's "Boyfriend" Season 1 and 2, there was also a thread on this (here), which you could refer to - both seasons were very entertaining eh, haha.

 

Taiwan also had 2 such shows concurrently in 2023, but one of them somehow had trouble in their post production and its broadcast did not completely showed all the episodes, only "男生男生配 (Boys Like Boys)" finished broadcasting all the episodes. This one, I created a thread on it (here), haha.

Well, they had sweet/good endings, except that "某某" was incomplete, as we were expecting Season 2, but it was cancelled. This interview (here) had hinted on season 2, however, nine months later, the director confirmed the cancellation (here). Even so, you should watch it, because personally, I think it was a very good show (based on a novel) plus the songs that I kept listening to till now, haha.
