Sam64 Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Just back from Tokyo...went to a normal spa for the hot spring at Spa La Qua (Tokyo Dome). Must say the experience is really wonderful...very relaxing..and I think my skin is much smoother. I think I can live with more hot spring treatment!Andy-san, thanks for your write up and map on 蛇骨汤, but unfortunately I didn't have time to visit that. I will make it a point to visit the next time, and also to call you to arrange for a meet up. Quote

Anytime sam, just give me a ring hehe.Just one note when U all visit saunas/hot springs. some people cant take high temperature water.. but sauna/hot springs with water at higher temp is better than those water near body temperature. this is because bacteria/fungus that could grow ard body temp would probably flourish in water that are not so hot, e.g. more than 40 over degree. Hence, one might wan to think twice if u wan to bath in water that is not so hot (i.e. ard body temp, 37) . To check the temperature, u can 1) look at the meter near the hot spring.(if they are working, it should be accurate) 2) just by feeling (using ur hand or penis lol to try) Quote
