Although he sings it in the scale of C, while she does in the scale of F, three tones higher. Maybe he could practice the whole aria, in the little lower scale, and make a pop video. This could be a success. . Edited September 9, 2020 by Steve5380 Quote

He does use the staccato effect on some of the songs like the diva dance posted earlier and his other songs, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFrQXcHSp2c Quote

Oh, I know her! The song below is my favourite one by her. It has a very Lord of the Rings-esque feel, as you say. Quote

I think her most popular is Mummer’s Dance, and really like the songs where the lyrics are from old poems like Lady of Shalott, Highway Man, Stolen Child. Other favs are All Soul’s Night, Marco Polo and list goes on. Christmas come I get comfy in a tub chair with a cup of hot chocolate, read a book and cycle thru her christmas albums. Quote

Thanks for the recommendation! Sigh I really hope that by Christmas we won't need to wear masks anymore. Would be quite depressing to walk around Orchard Rd to see the Christmas lights and have people all wearing masks. Quote

His voice is pretty good, and in this video, he sings Broken Vow, in a Josh Groban-esque style. And he is breathtakingly beautiful too 😍 (although a bit on the lean side, but that's cos he's still very young). (Singing starts at 2:48) Quote

I think one of the earlier versions must have been the Eurovision Song Contest. It was this contest that launched ABBA after they won for Sweden in 1974 with their iconic song, Waterloo. Of course, the very well-known one now is America's Got Talent. Quote

Oh LOL Sorry, you meant that. According to wiki, it was around the 1990s when orchestras started doing that when they were auditioning for new members. They did that to eliminate gender bias because in the past, many orchestras did not like to hire women. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blind_audition Quote

Blind auditions can use any means to block the vision. Eye masks like those used for sleeping should be simpler than turning chairs around, and also the sound coming from the front is more realistic than the one from the back. In any case, this is a good way to eliminate gender and race discrimination. With amplified music being fed to the judges from all directions, I cannot see that having their backs to a singer makes any difference, apart from not being able to see who it is. Also, the turning of the chairs creates a vastly more dramatic effect for the viewer than whipping off eye masks. Quote

Blind auditions are not so important in dumb song contests as they are in hiring musicians for symphony orchestras, and here the sound does not need to be amplified. Also in these auditions there are no "viewers" that need drama. Quote

Initially, I found Gianluca hot too, as my previous posts mentioned, but lately, I've been fanboying a lot after Piero! Find him damn cute, especially when he smiles!! And that voice of his! Depending on what he's singing, it can either calm a pack of angry wolves, or cause the roof of a house to come down! Quote
