Guest WTF?? Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 First time I was in daiso doing my shopping. Two friends were buying their own thing, one of them was looking at a window panesticker which has the pink/white pattern. He asked his other friend for opinion, and what he got for an answer was: "I am not into Gay thing"". It reminds me many years ago when I was shopping with my colleague at the CNY mart. I saw some nice fake flowers which I wanted to spruce up my home and asked my colleagues what they think of my chosen fake flowers. One of them laughed and told me that he is not into "Gay Thing" and he received a light slaps from my other female colleauges for giving such "bold" opinion. and While gay people often get judged by straight people, I often see straight people asking gay people for opinion be it home decoration or how one look in term of dressing. May I ask the readers here, what is the "GAY THING" in the market nowadays? Now I am scared of asking Straight people for opinion. I prefer to go shopping alone or buy stuff online and quietly shoved them into my cart and swiftly pay at the cash away from prying "straight" eyes. Quote

Steve5380 Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 I second @auscent. You should welcome some opinion "I'm not into gay thing" so you can ask the opinionated how he be so ignorant and say something so stupid. It is a good opportunity to explain how many gays are into the arts, into entertainment, into fashion, into US politics and even into the US military. Quote

LOL, i call out all my straight friends on their bullshit, but over time also encourage and give them permission to be their true selves. and in the rest of the modern world, LGBT culture is teaching straight men to shed their lame constructs and be more complete human beings. that is social evolution. straight guys have been running the world, and look how effed up the world is. trust me, they need to listen to us, not the other way around. Greenliv Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 You can say anything is a gay thing to anyone, and if it gains traction, then it becomes a norm. Oh, I don't drink bubble tea, it's such a gay thing. Oh, I don't take sweet stuff, it's such a gay thing. Sounds quite ridiculous, doesn't it? I write in good English because it is the gay thing. Sometime, it is out of politeness to ask or mere rhetoric questions without needing an answer. People can just shrug, nod as return courtesy, without needing to emphase about "not being into gay thing". It was like you asking someone whether they have taken their meal without any intention of you giving the other party a treat. Quote

You don't have to buy something that you don't like but other people approve of. I never shop with women because they want you to wear all those strictly male 'ah chek' stuff. Even underwear, women don't like men to wear all those flashy designs, g strings etc. But shopping with other gay frens, we end up fighting over the same items! LOL. Quote

Guest Guest Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 I ever took 'revenge' on my str8 colleagues when they said that to me before. 1 was at shopping mall carrying his gf handbag waiting for her to come out of toilet. I saw him and told him "hey...you look so gay in this handbag...nice! " The other 1 was carrying flowers bought from a florist that was meant for her gf. I saw him and told him. "You so sweet and girly with these flowers...I like! " Quote

I'm a better person than most straight guys, I'm smarter than most, hotter than ALL my straight friends, I could fuck as good as any guy and even take it up the ass like a man. Hell I'm proud to be gay! Lol So if there is something I want that makes me look gay, then shut up and take my money. 😂 Steve5380 1 Quote

It's what most girls ask of their bfs, what women ask from their men. So what if your friend is carrying flowers for his gf? He didn't ask for validation from you. That's the key difference. That fem mannerism of behaving/mimicking an approval-seeking guniang is and will forever be the biggest gay thing ever. Edited February 10, 2021 by FattChoy Quote

Guest Derelict Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 My frens and I enjoy reading those home decor magazines and then speculating which one is the gay abode. Normally, the story will read "the home owner a male in his forties, together with his partner..." There is no mention of the partner's gender. And the tell tale signs? All the hiao and beautiful things in the house. And then we'll know. Quote
Steve5380 Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 LOL! I am into one "gay thing": to look younger than I am. Stretches and exercises for posture, practice walking straight and balanced, daily creams for the face, self hair cut and now... color for the hair. Yesterday I did this, and I'm amazing how easy it is now. "Just for Men Touch of Gray, medium brown" I don't know if you get this in SG, but it is ideal. It is inexpensive, with nothing to mix together, a simple applicator, does not stain the skin, is washed away after 5 minutes more or less. The color looks very natural. My bf used to do this tasks, and now I do them myself. Now I have to be careful not to overdo this "looking younger", otherwise one day I will look again like a baby Quote

Each time, his new home will be featured in local decor mags. I always recognize it because he has a few signature furniture pieces. Exquisite Chinese handcrafted chairs, a very nice Lempicka painting like the one in Madonna's Vogue video, expensive unique lamps. Sometimes the mag will mention obliquely, that he lives with his male 'cousin' (apostrophe mine). Enjoy looking at all the hiao things. So telling. Kekekeke.... Quote
