singalion Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 When walking through Singapore the recent days, Duxton, Neil road, Tanjong Pagar, it seems that there are plenty of Korean and Japanese restaurants that have opened in the area. It is like this "Mala" hype that started in Singapore with plenty of food outlets opening on this concept. The food range is getting lower by the day. What happened to the traditional restaurants? What is the hype on the Korean and Japanese food? One outlet (Duxton) seems to offer high alcoholic Japanese liquor joined with high priced seafood, sushi or other Japanese dishes... The restaurant was full up to the last seat. Quote
egal Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 traditional restaurants are too old school, not attracting enough customers anyway i do not get what this topic is about, lol Quote
