MyOz83 Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 When lockdown happened mid-March last year in Malaysia, everything switched to work-from-home (WFH). I thought it was best to move back into the family home (almost overnight!) with the grandparents and mother given the tight lockdown rules. My grandpa is legally blind because of a stroke attack and my grandma is wheelchair bound because of sciatica. The mother was in remission for Stage 3 colon cancer. If anything, I was happy to be able to spend more time with them and help out. Now it's June 2021 and work is still done remotely; fully transitioned into WFH 15 months on. Having to be able to sit down for lunch and dinner at home every day with the fambam is probably the happiest moment for me now, as minute as it seems. The simple joys of life. Work salary was halved as business was affected, and staying with the family might have it's cons, but at this moment I'd rather not have it any other way. JuzAGuy 1 Quote

Roads are quieter, streets are calmer, less people taking public transport. Sure it's bad for business, but we never had this kind of peace so enjoy while it lasts. Quote
